I came across Shaman Durek randomly one day while browsing YouTube, and after watching an interview, knew I wanted to read his book. The insights he provides are important to understand what is happening in the world today. I've begun to apply his Spirit Hacks to my own life and have already seen the benefits. Thank you Shaman Durek!

Good story

Revisited this story after a few decades away and was not disappointed! It's just as entertaining now as it was as a kid. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the series

Historia
Dying is the only thing people do with any regularity, and Fiona makes her indecorous living cleaning up after the corpses are carted away. Her childhood best friend, Mary, was the last known victim of Jack the Ripper. It's been two years since Fiona scrubbed Mary's blood from the floorboards, and London is no longer buzzing about the Ripper, but Fiona hasn't forgotten. When she's called to a murder in the middle of the night, Fiona finds a victim mutilated in an eerily similar fashion to those of the Ripper, and only a few doors down from Mary's old home.

Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

sorry I paid for it.

Profanity seems to be overused in an attempt to sound edgy and cool, but it just comes off as cringey. Couldn't bring myself to listen to more than 15 minutes.
