First book I have read/listened to from the Author
Revisado: 12-05-19
First book I have read/listened to from the Author. So I was pleasantly surprised by the story and really enjoyed it.
It always nice to see a twist on the whole zombie thing. Felt more alien based. But again you don’t really know, because the characters don’t know. Also, the whole kill zombies in the head thing was a nice twist.

Was it ever really her choice?
Revisado: 10-23-19
Love the little adverts and snippets of information at the start of the chapters. Adds that extra bit of background information and makes the world seem the all the more real.
The whole story was so interesting, it kept me hooked from the very first page. Was it ever really her choice?

Revisado: 10-18-19
Book 1 - Chosen
I like how she doesn’t let anything get to her, yes now and then she fires back with some great one-liners, but overall she just focuses on what she wants. To become a dragon rider or someone who helps dragons. She knows it in her bones. Her family history helps her, but she doesn’t abuse her parent’s passing to give her that extra edge. Which just shows who she is.
Kept me hooked and highly entertained.
Book 2 - Awakened
Love how the Author played Eist issues, it wasn’t the main focus. It was just something she had to learn to deal with. She didn’t make a big thing out of it. Also loved how the other characters just accepted that part about her and moved on. It wasn’t a big deal.
It great to see her develop more, see her becoming what she had always dreamed of becoming.
Book 3 - Taken
Loving Fior, Eist’s dragon. He a right little character. Don’t let that fool you, he can kick some serious ass even at his size. Loving all the dragons really, they are their own characters, have their own personality. Great to see Eist isn’t alone, she has friends to help her, to stick by her.
Loving where this series is heading.

It kept me hooked, kept me wanting to find out...
Revisado: 09-24-19
First Book - I have only read the first two books in the original series involving Jack Forge. This did not affect me at all with reading this new series with him. All it did was make me want to finish reading the first series.
It was fastpaced and very intelligently done. It kept me hooked, kept me wanting to find out what the hell was going on. And what had happened in the past? Read the 2nd in the series straight after.
Second Book - I did not expect this story to go in the direction it did. Loving it! Its not all winning, it not all losing. It is just pure surviving.
The Narrator has done an amazing job capturing each character and bringing them to life. Just adds so much more depths to the story and characters.
Third Book - There is a fourth book?! Excuse me... (disappears)

Revisado: 09-12-19
This was a pleasant story to listen to. The Narrator was just great, loved how he did the female Scottish accent. There was enough twists and turns to keep me highly entertained.
I always go into children’s books expecting to see a lot of stuff, where I just shake my head at. Just them moments where you go ‘really?’ I found with this story, I never did. It felt realistic enough, the children used their common sense. They did their best.

It’s not you but it me.
Revisado: 06-20-19
This is going to be one of those reviews. It’s not you but it me. The narrator was on point, he was really good, the story and the concept were great too. But the dreaded but, it really wasn’t for me. I am not a huge fan of romance and this was romance from the get-go. Why read a romance then you idiot? Well, I like to give stories a chance and I like to get out of my comfort zone.
So yeah sorry, just wasn’t for me.

This was a great end to the trilogy. So highly impress with the Author and the Narrator. Everything was so highly professionally done and read beautifully. The story and world build was so unique, yet so real. You connected so strongly with all the characters, you wanted to see them find peace. You needed to see them survive.
That twist, I did not see coming. So brilliantly done. Would highly recommend this series to anyone.

This was a very fast listen at only an hour and a half. The Author sucked you in, left you wanting more. Which is the whole job of a prequel short story. To tease you, to give you a taste to see if you would enjoy the main series. Paga’s sister, geez, that lady got issues. Or should I say mermaid?

Really need to make this story into a movie.
Revisado: 12-15-18
Loved the steampunk and western mix. Both two genres I never normally go towards. The science and the steampunk was extremely well thought out, you could tell the Author had thought a great deal about this side of the story. It was great to see a female of that time be one of the main characters and a badass. Both physically and mentally.
Really need to make this story into a movie.
