As a single male with friends having children, I listened to this book out of curiosity. The book is both an engaging story of becoming a mother and a look at evidence based research in the field. It was quite fascinating to learn about the challenges of the process. I also really appreciate how the author clearly lists all the double standards and the unfair expectations women face in society without making the book sound like a feminists rant. I highly recommend listening to this book if you know anyone going through becoming a mother.

The book is nothing more than an inspirational elaborate blog post. I have listened to more elaborate and informative podcasts than this book.
It contains no workable information. It is extremely shallow and clearly rushed as a cash grab. Completely useless.

Not based on research nor experiments. Just the opinions of the author which can be completely wrong. I stopped listening after she tried to defend a woman using anecdotal evidence to argue against research as the woman using a “different kind of logic”. No dear Deborah, she is not using logic at all. She is using ignorance. And by defending her you just show how dumb you are.

If you suspect your man is autistic or suspect that he comes from Jupiter, then this is the book for you. It will explain to you what is going through his head, how he will never understand you, and why you should leave him ASAP.

The narration has many mistakes and feels like an unfinished draft. Many times the narrator clearly makes a mistake reading and just keeps going.

As a long time mythbusters fan, I appreciate the candid reflection back on behind the scenes happenings and stories about mythbusters.
Also, it is nice to see how colorful a life Kari has lived. it is inspiring.
I didn't care much for the strong feminism swings the book took at random moments. It was not necessary. Just being a powerful successful woman is a great example of feminism. No neet to be explicit about it, let alone repeatedly going on and on and oon about it.

I couldn't make it past the first 15 minutes of the book. That dull irrelevant story read in the robotic monotone voice of the author gave ME brain damage. Immediately returned and deleted from device.

This book is dangerous. Our group head manager always had theories about how staff were being biased against women. She often recommended this book and after reading it I now know what filled her head with all this propaganda.

The book if packed full of stories and has little factual data. No numbers or statistics or published research. I am sure if someone goes through enough effort, they can collect some stories to back up the exact opposite point. That’s why we should never make conclusions based on anecdotes. And that’s all this book offers. Anecdotes designed to make women feel exploited and entitled.

As a man I enjoyed listening to this book. It is good to know yourself and know how “quality” women think like. Also why some women seem crazy sometimes.
The book is fun and informative. And the voice performer is really going for it. The information is a bit simplistic and not based on any scientific research. Just a one guy’s advice who seem to be quite knowledgeable.

Book spent 20 minutes explaining how each atom in your body makes a part of you and how they are carbon atoms and nitrogen atoms and... oh my God shut the hell up already. Say something interesting man.
The narrator has the most smug tone as if he was explaining the secrets of the universe.
If you want to listen then I recommend you skip the first half hour. Hopefully the book gets better afterwards.

The writer and voice reader collaborate on putting you to sleep. I have been listening to the book for 20 minutes and all the books did so far was repeating over and over and over that blockchains are going to revolutionize the world. How? Why? Who knows. I won't know because I'm returning this book and finding another one.
