Narrator

The last half of the book is filled with words the narrator mispronounces over and over to the point where I was taken away from the information and thinking about the word. This narrator would be better suited for novels where nuances in pronunciations are ok and add to the character of the story... not in information dense con theory books.

example: Rosacrucian = Rosacurian... it gets annoying hearing it pronounced that way hundreds of times in 1hr. the word "slash is slaysh". There are other examples... I have 6hrs left... and I can't power through it. Returning and never buying anything with that narrator again.

Found it pleasant until I didn't

I thought I could get past the accent of the narrator, but it started to get boring and hard to listen to. I am struggling to get through the Sutra of Hui Neng, it doesn't resonate with me. I will listen on and finish. I wish i would have just read the pdf.

Disappointed

I wish I would have just bought the books I was interested in. You can tell where different books start by the time stamps. I was only intersect in 3 books presented here. The speed reading book beats into your head how great it is to have the ability to speed read for about 15minutes into the book. The diet book I skipped entirely as well as the depression book. The anxiety book seemed to just drone on. I feel I wasted my money, but I now own all of them in case I ever feel the need to listen back .

A quick no-nonsense, straight to the point beginner's guide to NLP. I have a few books I've listened to, this will be my go to guide while I am still novice. I wish I would have bought this book sooner. I will be picking up the other books linked to this one.

I like Eckhart but...

I feel like he was trying to create something profound, but it seems more like regurgitated buddhism. The audio version is quite annoying with his long pauses. The Power of Now is by far his best book. I feel like I am doing the author a disservice in my review because I actually respect his thoughts, but this book is just not reaching me. Maybe I will have to listen a few more times and stop to reflect on his words, but some of it just seems nonsensical.

These 2 books are very informative. The author does well in explaining the practice behind both books. I have listened to them a few times each, even though I have learned much of what was already presented in Buddhism for Beginners.

I didn't know I needed this book in my life. You will know the truth as you listen. Looking forward to A New Earth by the author as well.
