Historia
Marion Woodman believes that centuries of “patriarchal thinking” have stripped the soul from our inner and outer lives and placed the world in grave danger. In talks, workshops, and BodySoul Rhythms intensives in Canada, the United States, and Europe, she has urged us to engage with the unconscious energy that erupts beneath the surface of our best intentions, sending us where we may not want to go. In this lecture and through case studies, dreams, and myths, the Jungian analyst explores the hidden causes of compulsion in the lives of men and women.

Laugh out loud hilarity for the whole family...
Revisado: 11-05-19
The Spirits of the Western Wild has everything a good story needs. Adventure. Unexpected twists and turns. A mysterious journey. And a character who is not what or who he thinks he is (or may seem). The narrative enthralled me from the moment this story begins. The action is particularly suited to an animated film. The story flows like a film. The voice narration casting is spot-on: the narrator, conductor, Luther, and Monte, in particular, have fabulous voices perfectly suited to this story. The rich, smooth voice over of the narrator actor sounded much like Morgan Freeman. There are multiple "laugh out loud" moments which will make you (and your family) snicker, guffaw, or--at the very least--grin in response. ***Spoiler Alert*** One scene gives new meaning to the term jailbreak. After the jailhouse careens through the desert, it is “teetering on the edge of a massive gorge”. Then there is an exciting conclusion. Monte and Luther escape from a window just before the jailhouse with a band of villains inside tips over. Then the jailhouse falls and plummets into a gorge below. There were hilarious moments, rich with nuance and subtext, such as when Luther asks Monte if he doesn’t see a “bright light” out there, somewhere. A butterfly follows the cowpoke who fails to recognize that he is a ghost. Luther becomes an inadvertent outlaw. The only negative for me was that, initially, the rhythm of the story audio delivery seemed a bit fast. However, after the beginning, I quickly got used to the rapidly-paced audio delivery. This quality audio story production is sure to entertain you and your family, and the audio book would make a wonderful holiday or another gift for others. Happy listening~*
