I enjoyed the book, however, as others mentioned it is repetitive. Also, I personally have my doubts how many people can accurately take the “temperature” of the market and get it right. More importantly, I have my doubts how many people will get back in at the right time or change their portfolio back from defensive to aggressive at the right time. With that said, it was a good book and I have no regrets on listening to it and the reader
was very good.

I currently own a few rentals, but want to expand my ownership. I loved that this book provided common sense advice on all areas. Although some other reviews complained that it was narrated by the author in an amateurish manner, I enjoyed his presentation and the fact that it didn't sound like a movie trailer. I'm really sick of fluff motivational books, this book doesn't contain much of that but provides common sense advice. I was very pleased.

I've been using index and ETFs for the past decade or more as the backbone of my portfolio. So I already knew many of the benefits. John Bogle's book made me see that I really shouldn't play around with sector ETFs and it simpler and more productive to just buy the overall market index. As some have said the book does get somewhat repetitive, however, it is much needed advice and really helped me focus on how I want to invest in the future. His references to other impressive investors and experts who believe as he does is also amazing. Overall, it really is a tour de force on how to invest safely and intelligently. I recommended it to all my family members.

If you could sum up The Psychology of Selling in three words, what would they be?

This book is simply awesome, it really has given me some major insight in how to sell and why people go with a sale and how to close the deal. It really has made a significant change in a short amount of time. I realized it is a lot cheaper for me to spend more time on becoming a better salesperson than more money on marketing. This book has helped bridge that gap and has made a big impact.

What other book might you compare The Psychology of Selling to and why?

None

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the friendship factor information. Super simple and easy to apply.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really

Any additional comments?

Just fabulous, can't say much else. Its a must for anyone who is interested in learning the reasoning behind selling.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book provided some insightful points. I felt like the seven step process was not applied systematically to each scenario. So in that way I felt like it could have been organized a little better or more systematically.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked some of the practical advice. Like arranging a time every day to have your "worry" time so you can avoid unproductive "worry" time.

What does Mike Chamberlain bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It was very pleasant to listen to.

What did you learn from The Worry Cure that you would use in your daily life?

See above.
