Historia
Viktor Orlov had a longstanding appointment with death. Once Russia’s richest man, he now resides in splendid exile in London, where he has waged a tireless crusade against the authoritarian kleptocrats who have seized control of the Kremlin. His mansion in Chelsea’s exclusive Cheyne Walk is one of the most heavily protected private dwellings in London. Yet somehow, on a rainy summer evening, in the midst of a global pandemic, Russia’s vengeful president finally manages to cross Orlov’s name off his kill list.

TOO MUCH POLITICS
Revisado: 07-31-21
Silva should have killed off Allon. This is the LAST book by this author I will ever buy or listen to. Even the dedication was political. I think possibly Silva alienated half his listeners.

The promise of a second gold rush has attracted an onslaught of newcomers all hoping for a windfall, and the community is growing faster than houses can be built. Did not like the multiple narrators
Revisado: 05-25-20
David Baldacci writes excellent stories and I have listened to if not all then most. However.the use of multiple narrators to me makes it a play not a story and a difficult listen. Give me an excellent narrator such as Scott Brick or George Guidall, and you won 't need one mediocre narrator to support another mediocre one . Just read to me a book with an excellent narrator. If I want to hear a play, i'll down load Shakespeare.

Great Emotonal Thriller
Revisado: 05-24-18
I like the emotional thrillers better than Rosato-DiNunzio Series. L.S. did a great job. Found a new favorite narretor in George Newbern.

A Silly Triller
Revisado: 05-02-18
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
A lesser mature thriller reader
Would you ever listen to anything by David Archer again?
Probably not
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
Yes no problem ith the narrator
What character would you cut from Hit for Hire?
The three lesser characters esp. Sarah
Any additional comments?
For a mystery thriller story too predictable, no suprise ending, story had too many silly lines. Characters did not portray a true undercover spy persona not enough spy craft., such as all four always being together, too love sick of a couple always bringing attention to themselves, Just a book of obvious silly lines

Revisado: 01-15-17
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I'm not an aurthor cannot say just know things need to be changed
If you’ve listened to books by Brett Battles before, how does this one compare?
Loved the Quinn series which is why I downloaded both these books. Harper needs a better non juvenile senior citizen supporting cast. Being a senio,r the questions and comments they make are annoying . BRING BACK QUINN
What aspect of Jeff Woodman’s performance would you have changed?
Excellent Perfermance for the script he had to work wiith
Do you think Every Precious Thing needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No this us a follow up book series should stop here
