Too melancholy for me. Wasn't able to finish

I only made it through 4 hours before giving up. Both the story and the narration are slow moving and melancholy. I normally enjoy coming of age stories, but I didn't connect with Cash or "Delaney".

I have all of Sarah Dessen's books, and they are all great. I'm a 50something man and completely enjoy listening to her books. They are great for buying on Audible because I find that I can listen to them again every couple years and it's great every time. Once and For all is fantastic.

If you are a christian, I would avoid this book. I realize it is a fictional story, but it invents a story about David that makes him into a monster, when he is historically known as a "man after God's own heart". I can't review the full book since I had to stop just a couple hours in, as soon as I realized the liberties the author was taking.

I'm surprised by the good reviews. There are no likable characters, and the story is rather slow and melodramatic. If you like coming of age books like I do, skip this and try Sarah Dessen books instead.

I'd skip this one. The story is weak. The characters aren't interesting. I've listened to other books narrated by Karissa Vacker and enjoyed her reading, but she sounds like she is depressed in this reading. I was hoping for a fun, summer, beach book. This one missed that by a mile.

For me, the audio book is much better. I can listen to the book over and over while I stay active.

Sarno's Healing Back Pain.There are other TMS books, but I haven't found other Audio books that help treat this universal condition
