Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Speaks to my soul
Revisado: 10-07-20
I didn’t have nearly the adversity of David Goggins but I can certainly feel his struggle. Everyone struggles and has adversity. Some have more. So I pulled 100 pull-ups this week while listening. I did 88 dead lifts the next day. I did things I didn’t feel like doing at home. I might have teared up 1-2 times with the soul crushing events. I am going to exceed everyones expectations especially my own from now on. “Roger that”

Revisado: 09-02-20
Today’s society wants to give everyone a participation trophy. That doesn’t work when livelihoods. The most successful companies were incredibly hard and tedious to apply and get hired. I gained a few good insights to hiring and Firing. Ive ran a business for over17 years and still felt like I learned a few things here.

Historia
There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.

Revisado: 08-09-20
I am going to probably listen and read 4-5 times. Very good references and information. You will be more productive and sad successful in just a few hours if you just read this. Also read the compound effect by Darren Hardy. These two are a killer success combo

You wouldn’t think people could be so manipulative and cunning in an evil way. Its good to see how evil thinks and works. Communism in theory is good but ONE intelligent strategic person is all it takes for 50,000,000 deaths. I don’t even want to discuss politics with someone that has not yet read Orwell

I have read the book and listen about 6x. I got Darren’s other book and listened to Jim Rohn as well. I am giving copies as Christmas presents to entrepreneur friends. And my teenage sons will read this and I will talk to them about it periodically to make sure they understand. In fact, a month ago I was very nervous about flying and began taking flying lessons. You would not recognize me now compared to 6 weeks ago. I will get my private pilots license and an airplane. Without the compound effect I would never achieve things like this. I will not be the same person the next time you see me. I will be better

Going to listen again
Revisado: 07-05-19
Some books you read once and move on. I’m buying the hard copy of this and listening again. I had no idea it would take $142000 out of traditional Ira to keep only $100000 per year after taxes. And that’s if taxes don’t increase. I know taxes will increase. My concern now is that I make over $189000 per yr so no Roth. But strangely enough I might be able to do a Roth conversion and accomplish the same thing. So I’ll listen again and look up Roth conversations. Zero tax is the way to go

Should have 100,000 five stars
Revisado: 10-17-18
I’ve tried about all forms of investment. I’m a typical college grad, hard working guy that usually succeeds. But I messed up w investing because I relied on investors to help me. Then i picked individual stocks. I made 17000 with Facebook. I lost 40000 with energy. You can’t win year after year gambling on individual stocks. Grab Tesla now if you want to gamble. This book will make me hundreds of thousands of dollars and my kids will make millions.
I had a friend become a broker and I thought I could get the inside scoop. He had nothing. They just wanted you to bring them a million bucks and they take $20000 to invest. This book explains why and how to do it right.
Btw my 401k has done the best of all my investments and it can be better according to this book. I went from $75k invested to $200k in 10 yrs. compound interest but ameri funds are expensive w fees. I will change and do better. Get this book and see

Good resources throughout the book. The background check company suggested should be instantly useful. The profile test and company I’m going to try myself first. Then on candidates. I have owned my business for 15 years and lying is more normal than truth. This will help get the right person.
