Good story

First and fourth parts were terrific. The story in the second and third parts was good but I have a pet peeve. I learned about present and past tense in 1st grade many many years ago. I find it cringe inducing to listen/read to books written in present tense.

My other issue with this collection is with the production. The 1st book was ok. The 2nd book needed 20% more volume. The third book needed an additional 10%. There is no good reason for this other than crappy work. Whoever was in charge of final production should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this.

Mr Lange has written some awesome stories. I enjoyed them immensely.

Yuck

I’ve listened to about a hour of this. No more. I can deal with slow mcs and stupid mcs but idiots and morons I can’t stand. Dude keeps yammering about protecting his kids but doesn’t do anything about that. He won’t listen to the fairy, he won’t read and pay attention to his notifications, he doesn’t apply his points.

Yep, just no.

I have listened to this book many times while Todd was the narrator. This is the first and last time with Neil. All males sound the same. Females just sound weird. The audio is horrible. In some places it sounds like a pit of snakes with the hissing ‘s’. In other places, it sounds like the reader is in a barrel. As for the story, yes it jumps between main mc and others. However, I personally don’t mind hearing how Stobin (for example) increased levels. I also enjoy the length of these books. Thank you.

Lovely story

I read the other reviews and wasn’t sure about this book. However, I get all LLV books. Now I don’t understand the complaints. Aodhan was born and raised in Florida. Why would he have an accent? I found the female narrator did a good job with Morrigan. I enjoyed the story.

A story of bullying and abuse by family

I watched the wedding of Charles and Diana. I also watched the media coverage of both the death and funeral of Diana. I was appalled at what I saw. Just today, I was on the internet and read an article saying that Americans are tired of Prince Harry. Personally, I say he and his wife and children are very welcome.

Couldn’t finish

The female narrator is so bad that I couldn’t finish the book. I went and read it instead. I’ll keep the audible copy just to have the full set, but I’ll never listen to it.

Loved this book

I don’t know what book the other reviewers read/listened to, but not dungeon walkers. The MC is a very unusual young man who is very mature for his age. As I have been in the shoes of Cyra, I approve and appreciate the way the author handled her. My only complaint is that I have to wait for more of the story.

I’ve been waiting for this series to reach audible. Finally I can listen. Awesome series. One of the few teen mc books that are enjoyable for adults. Thank you.
