sk. come get ur boy. uhm,my big brother dropped his paperback of “IT” in my path I was the baby among 3 children (i don’t care about english sentences , grammar, rules). this is MY time and, frankly,( last comma i am using by the rules )) because wake up rules have changed! stop using not applicable rules!!! and trust me when i told u about 10 years ago it’s not right! congratulations for being woke now to new rules.

beautiful and well written

started crying at the end. you will have to wonder if it was a happy cry or a sorrowful one. i have to say i mostly read horror, sci fi, post apocalypse and i cannot stand “thrillers” but when a book is an incredible journey like this one i am totally down for it! somehow i believe books like these enrich my life.

i had almost given up

i am a voracious reader. when i was very young my older brother left a stephen king novel by his bed and i picked it up. imagine if you will, the days when you had to wait for a new book to show up at the bookstore. i was that kid. waiting, begging my mom to buy me the latest stephen king. to this day “the talisman “ (i know a collaboration with straub) but still the only book i reread every few years. then he started to change. i struggled with the gunslinger but 100% fell in love with the dark tower series but still. i was not happy with some books and when mr. mercedes came along i figured i was done. no judgment the man gave me such wonder for so many years but it felt like the wonder had gone out of him. then this book. mr. king you brought back the RIDE the joy the journey the adventure the LIFE. i was crying at the end (and i fight hard not to cry because i am horribly disfigured afterward and feel like crap) and i was astonished i was crying. not sure if it was the ending or my sorrow at it’s ending. this man does not need my review but i pray sincerely that there are new readers out there whose eyes are opened to completely new and astonishing worlds who might accidentally pick up this book and discover a life they never knew existed. sir if you never write another book i thank you in words that will never express my sincerity at the escape you gave this once lonely weird and abused child who grew up to do well i suspect because you taught me that my life wasn’t all there was.

you don’t need my review you have enough fans it was an amazing ride and i thank you for it. if i had to say something negative it would be stop switching between first names and last names for the characters!! i already have to place 15 primary characters in my head and the switches back and forth from first to last name made me think i had 30 characters to set in my brain! loved this story. so unique

Riveting! You know you love Kevin Hart yet he is not joking nor is there anything to joke about but I didn’t realize how familiar and welcoming his voice is to me. And he delivers the facts without spin and with insights you would never get anywhere else. Truly fascinating. Dude. You gotta do more. Charlemane (sorry on spelling) you nailed this!!!!!

one of the few series where i feel like each one could truly stand alone. luxuriously long the characters are extremely rich and mentally the story plays out in my mind like i am right there watching everything. tremendous

i listen to morbid and radiolab and lots of audible books but this was my first audible podcast. i just randomly put it on while i was cleaning. i must say i thoroughly enjoyed this and wish it had been longer. witty, creative, clever. good job yall!

i am seriously sorry this is over. i did it on audible when i tend to be driving or doing chores so when i first started it i lost the plot from time to time but noticed moments when i caught something clever or funny (or both). i made up my mind to listen unhindered (don’t get me wrong once i got the basics i was back to chores lol) and i enjoyed the heck out of this tale. originality 10. relatable jokes to your generation 10. a d&d obsessive need to give me the score on every status (think hp and mana which they repeatedly pronounce Ma Nah) is not necessary 3. story with great characters and fleshed out individual stories and unique perspective? 10. scale of 1 to 10 am i pissed it’s over to soon? google it

i haven’t been happy with sk lately. i’ve been reading his books for 40 years and have read everyone of them. some more than once. his collaboration book with straub the talisman i’ve read about every ten years because it is such an awesome journey. lately i don’t know if him or me but i haven’t been so enthralled. while i feel like there was a certain bridge used here to hurry up the story (hugs!) i still found myself spellbound like the old days. we all evolve and change and it’s never when those around us like it. it’s never in sync. but sk just met us on our level.

im so sad this story is over. i gobbled up the whole set in a few days and really miss the characters especially the main one.
