Historia
A Natural History of North American Trees gives us a picture of life in America from its earliest days to the middle of the last century. The information is always interesting, though often heartbreaking. While Peattie looks for the better side of man's nature, he reports sorrowfully on the greed and waste that have doomed so much of America's virgin forest.

A beautiful Narrative
Revisado: 03-21-23
To be honest, I was not sure what to expect, but I found this extremely interesting and reflective. My appreciation for trees in North America and their history is something I will always remember. I loved this book so much, that I got it in print to go back and reference pages.
Honestly, one of my top 3 tree focused books!! Absolutely stunning!!

Another Amazing Story!
Revisado: 11-21-17
Dan Brown is always a thought provoking writer that challenges his readers. This is probably why he is one of favorite writers. When we struggle with concepts and ideas we grow richer in knowledge. Dan Brown understands this and as such proposes very intriguing ideas of a future, future and present religious conversations, as well as future and present cultural and ethical relationships shared amongst societies. His ideas are not necessarily new but ideas and concepts that wrap themselves in amongst the daily thread work of humanity. Some people, either by choice, ignorance, or denial refuse to acknowledge these prodding’s and bookings of thoughts and ideas within society. I hope many people read this book and see it as an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with leaders, friends, and potentially even government. It is through the discovery or truth with the help and guidance of others (human and possible beyond human) that we, human beings, will continue to grow and evolve.
This is not an anti-God book. Quite contrary.
Performance was excellent.
Made it into my top 50 favorite books.

Historia
Tatooine—a harsh desert world where farmers toil in the heat of two suns while trying to protect themselves and their loved ones from the marauding Tusken Raiders. A backwater planet on the edge of civilized space. And an unlikely place to find a Jedi Master in hiding, or an orphaned infant boy on whose tiny shoulders rests the future of a galaxy.

Great Story!
Revisado: 04-03-15
This was a great story. Very different from what many of the Star Wars stories are like. This was a nice redemptive story and easily can be ranked up there as one of my top ten favorite star wars books, excluding the 1-6 series. I wish the end would have been a little different and Obiwan could leave Tattooin, but he has a responsibility. John Miller does an incredible job telling the story! I personally like the adventure stories that involve high travel, but this was still action filled an full of great plot twists! I would recommend this book.
