Wonderful, compelling story.
Revisado: 04-30-17
Compelling story, fascinating and believable characters. The unexpected but plausible plot twists are vintage Steve Berry. He's a master story teller.
As with all good literature a reader learns something about him/herself, others, and the world around him/her. Loved the professional narrative by the author following the novel in which he talks about the research required to write the book, putting a story with a mixture of fact and imagination in some enlightening historical context.
I recommend the book and the authors other works. This book was read and listened to by my wife and me who says to add, "I like happy endings, where the good guys and right prevail." Certainly, there is a valuable place in the human experience for such inspirational narratives.

Historia
Chelsea Chambers is on her own. After a public split from her NFL superstar husband, Chelsea takes a bold step out of the limelight and behind the counter of the Higher Grounds Café, an old-fashioned coffee shop in dire need of reinvention. But when her courage, expert planning, and out-of-this-world cupcakes fail to pay the bills, this newly single mom finds herself desperate for help. Better yet, a miracle.

Compelling. insporing story of God's love, grace
Revisado: 05-24-15
Good storyline, great perspective about the reality of the spiritual battle of life in this fallen world. Inspiries me spiritually to place trust in Jesus Christ relationally, not just the New Age forces of good and positive thinking. May or Lord help us to place our treasures in Heaven and godly things rather than in the pleasure and materialism of this fallen world. Interesting characters, although a bit 2-dimensional in places. Good oral performance of the text. Stimulates the imagination, reflection, thought as all good literature must do-- by helping us to understand ourselves, others, the world around us. My wife and I laughed, teared up, talked about Truth and truths during and after the listening experience. I'll buy the book now to reread more carefully and vicariously experience the story more fully than we could do with the oral presentation.
