This book might've made waves when it was released, but now, less than a decade later, sounds like a hit and miss. The internet landscape has changed tremendously. Don't waste your time or money. Choose something more up to date.

Couldn't stand narrator's whispered voice

What disappointed you about Strategic Connections?
I only got to chapter 3, but the content sounded too general and a bit outdated. It didn't seem to deliver the title, presenting old fashioned formulas of networking.
How could the performance have been better?
Why can't the narrator speak like a normal human being instead of whispering the end of each word? It sounds utterly artificial, fake, trying too hard to impress. Tone/pace are also weird, like an American trying to sound British or vice-versa. Performance is so over the top that completely turned me off.
