Narrator sounds French

It’s a good story and the female narrator is good but the male narrator sounds like a fake French accent. He does well with the emotional aspect of narration but the accent is terrible. It throws the story off.

The storyline was great and well paced. The narration was amazing from both narrators. I already loved Bridget, but this was the first time I listened to Corvin and his voice was excellent and made the story even better! Omega is not the same as in shifter stories…for those unaware. This gives the reader a taste of our animalistic nature sexually but without having to shift. It’s raw and dirty and oh so good. The omega controls the alphas but still submits….my perfect mix of control. I like the power dynamic in this story.

I can still remember the moment I first heard Cyrus Holt's deep, commanding voice. I didn't know who he was or about the life he'd left behind. I was just a trembling orphan on the run from a monster, and he was the man offering me shelter and not giving me a choice about it. This boss of bosses didn't assign someone else to watch over me. He slept on the floor next to my bed when I woke up scared, then spanked me like a naughty little girl when I lied to him.

There’s no substance to this story. I like a little grit and punishment with an alpha character but this was overkill. The majority of the story is the heroine getting spanked. There’s entire chapters of a punishment. I like a little more story with my sex and punishments. If you want a lot of spanking, this book is for you.

Oh my goodness! Great story but somewhat sad.

The truth is not revealed until the end. Loved the story; I even shed a few tears. Not the run-of-the- mill love story. Completely original. I skated on the edge of what was actually going on but never nailed it exactly. It kept me guessing the entire time. I came close to getting it but never imagined the reality of it. The narrators were great as well. The love and passion scenes were also great, well written and well performed. It’s funny, sexual, and dramatic…a dramatic comedy…with sex scenes. You’ll get the reference once you read/listen. Happy hearing…or reading.
