She much fraud in this book - think I might have been able to keep the characters in mind more easily in print form but the story moved along at a good pace . So great to have Zadieui Smith as narrator!

Hard to follow and awfully “preachy”

This must be an example of a book that’s easier to read in print than listen to - and I listen to ALOT of audiobooks! Such an over the top harangue against the Catholic Church was also hard to swallow. Constant references to prior books’ plots makes it seem as though the reader needs to stop and go back & read other Silva books to make sense of this one.
Made my head hurt to try to keep track of all the characters too.
Would not recommend this one to friends even during the age of Corona virus when we are all looking for something to read or listen to.

Great plot, fast moving, keeps my interest from start to finish with great resolutions to sticky problems. Thanks CJ - keep ‘me coming! Might get the reader to check out some pronunciations before he starts with WY locations - heard a few blips in there !

Would Stieg Larsson approve?

No one can replace Stieg Larsson's writing and creativity. Lisbeth's character might not have carried on for so many books if he'd lived, but she certainly wouldn't have had needed to rely on such convoluted twists and turns and leaps of unconnected faith as Lagercrantz writes. Just not a clean or interesting as the original books.

Moves at a great pace. Writing is very visual and lends itself well to the audible medium. Great characters and GREAT narrator.
