My Favorite King Novel

The book is very long and slow. I had reached the point of either blowing my brains out or just throwing away the book and walking away and never looking back. Of course, I chose the latter. This has to be one of the worst books I have ever read. I tried to hang on and push right through it. But failed I just couldn't get through it. Steven King is either a hit or miss for me. Take his book “It”, it was also a very long book. However, I still liked it. That is until you get closer to the ending and you find out the antagonist character has nothing to do with the supernatural. It ends up being a huge alien spider from another world. That had crashed landed on earth over a millennium ago. And it survives by eating little children. Don't waste your money on the audiobook A Bag of Bones.

I absolutely enjoyed this series. I couldn't put it down. I started listening to the audiobook yesterday morning and the next thing I noticed the next day sun was coming up. I went through all three books in two and a half days. I hope the author continues with this series. It would also make a good movie and then do a tv series.

This Is An Awesome Book To Read.

The Author of this book did a great job of describing what had happened at Khe Sanh. It brought back bad and good feelings about my own experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq. There is a bond that you and your fellow living and dead Soldier or Marines develop in combat. There are no words that can describe it. It's the closest bond that any human being can experience with another human being. Again this is just an excellent book all around.
