Glad the author could share her story. The should have been a Mother's Wicked Web! It a typical story of a mother's indiscretions catch up later in life when child finds out who she thought was her father wasn't her father and the mother knew it the entire time.

The storyline was typical and nothing new under the sun. Her mom cheated with a black man and lied about who her real father was right in front of the white man who raised her as his own. She was in denial all her life when her own skin was telling her the truth. Sad for the man who raised her because he went against his better judgment for what he believed to be love that ended with him being the spider caught in the mother's wicked web in the end. However, good thing the narrator came to know the truth about her identity.

This book was inspiring and full of rich lessons to learn from the author's journey to freedom and emotional wholeness. Also, this book can assist readers in gaining a better understanding of the link between trauma and the black experience that is often passed generation after generation. I encourage woman to give every black man you love and care about a copy so that they can began the journey to healing or continue it! (Sincerely a black woman)

I enjoyed the content and the perspective of WHO God has always been. The author gave great insight into the dangers of connecting ones faith in God to their sexuality whether heterosexual or homosexual. It's a must read for those seeking to understand God's call to HOLINESS from ALL SIN!😀

I enjoyed the narration by Michelle Obama herself the most...it really help to understand what she was feeling in relation to the words written in the book. I would definitely recommend reading this book to better understand the obstacles the Obama's overcame to become who they are now!
