The narrator of this tale makes taking a bath seem like a dream to these canines. Spoken in a soothing voice that will gently lull you to sleep.

I wish that the names of the chapters had been included instead of only the chapter numbers. Twelve of the thirteen chapters were named after the Twelve Labours of Hercules and the stories were tied into them. However, I frequently found it hard to remember which labor the chapter I was reading was about.

This Agatha Christie short was packed with intrigue. A close-knit group of travelers are stunned when the matriarch of an atypical American family is found dead. Poirot investigates and discovers that almost a dozen of the group had the opportunity to murder her or had a motive to kill her. This could all get confusing. However, narrator Hugh Fraser found many distinct voices for the various characters to help the listener keep track of the plot.

It was such a delight to have Death On The Nile narrated by the voice of David Suchet. who played the part of Poirot so adeptly in the Agatha Christie movie series. He had so many voices. He read the narration in such a way that I was able to follow the clues and action better than when I read it or watched it before. He gave each character a distinctive voice. And of course, Hercule Poirot was played in Suchet's unique style.
