The male narrator is terrible. I can’t tell all the men apart. He also doesn’t seem to have a strong male voice. I get “creepy” vibes from him. The female character is weak and takes so much crap from the men. I’m stopping at this one. I just can’t continue this series. Each book could have been summed up in a single chapter of one book instead of stopping mid story.

Female lead voice is awesome! The man is beyond annoying. I can’t tell any of the characters apart when he’s speaking. I wish the male narrator would stop even trying to attempt to speak the female role. They should keep the voice’s as separate people. The story is a good start/set up for a longer story. It seemed like this book should have been chapter one in a longer book.

I greatly enjoyed and highly recommend every other book in this series. This book follows the same flow as the rest of the books in the series. Good characters are taken advantage of and mistreated for the first 95% of the book and everything is miraculously fixed in the last chapter. Oher books in this series have interesting characters, back stories, and sub plots. Not this one. It was disappointing since virtuality nothing of interest happens in this book.

The topic’s and ideas shared are thought provoking but the same are presented ideas over and over in the book. It would be nice to have more depth. I also found it frustrating when sentences would just stop mid thought and the book would just to move on to another idea.

This book might be better read in print where references are listed. I really wish they didn’t decide to break the series into 3 separate books. Given the limited information provided in book 1 and knowing all of the content contained in these books is available for free online, it’s difficult to justify purchasing books 2 & 3.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one. I have been a member of Audible for almost a decade. This is the only book I have ever given 1 star.

What could Larry McMillan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Put some time into actually providing some information to the reader and the book. This "book" is just a sales pitch to subscribe to his newsletter.

How could the performance have been better?

The book sound quality sounds like somone smuggled a tape recorder into one of Larry McMillan's seminars and then published the recording.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger / Disappointment. Insider trading is presented like it is ok since everyone does it. Much of the information in this book is 15 years old and not relevant today. The reader is also told the only way they can get the relevant information is to subscribe to Larry's newsletter.

Any additional comments?

I would like my money back.

Wait to purchase until the 2nd half is finished

This is only 1/2 the book. I was disappointed when the book abruptly ended with no warning. This (1st) part of the book had no climax, no real plot to speak of and little character development. I am a dedicated fan of Dean Koontz and this series, but I would recommend steering clear of this one; at least until the 2nd half is published. There is nothing in this book worth a credit.

Not quite as good as the first

It's hard to forget such a memorable character as Odd Thomas and the challenges he faced in the last book. It was good to see him back in a follow up to the last book. Unfortunately not much happened in Forever Odd. The storyline in Forever Odd and new characters were just not as interesting as the first book Odd Thomas. It is worth the read if you are like me and you must finish a series once started. If not, I recommend remembering Odd as he was at the end of the first book, Odd Thomas.
