Historia
I’d never forgotten him - a man I’d yet to meet. Griffin Quinn was my childhood pen pal, the British boy who couldn’t have been more different from me. Over the years, through hundreds of letters, we became best friends, sharing our deepest, darkest secrets and forming a connection I never thought could break. Until one day, it did. Then, out of the blue, a new letter arrived. A scathing one - one with eight years of pent-up anger. I had no choice but to finally come clean as to why I stopped writing. Griffin forgave me, and we were able to rekindle our childhood connection.

Maybe an unpopular opinion
Revisado: 04-04-22
I’m sorry, but I find myself thinking this girl is a complete WUSSY. I guess I don’t have the knowledge of what it’s like to have a panic disorder… I find myself having a hard time feeling sorry for her when she got “trapped” in a bathroom and freaking herself out. Being alone in an empty apartment, who in the HELL closes the door to go pee? The guy felt all guilty about her getting scared by being locked in a dark bathroom while by herself… I’m having a hard time liking her. I feel like she’s making things harder on herself by making mountains out of molehills. It’s almost like she’s inventing reasons to be anxious. She needs to get her sh** together! 🤦🏻♀️ I DID say my opinion may not be a popular one… LORD…

Historia
Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her. A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of uncomplicated fun.

Pretty good but typical romance…
Revisado: 09-26-21
This was a good listen. The narrators did a good job! I am FAR FROM a prude and love a good sex scene in a good romance novel. That being said… I feel like all they did was boink. It sort of got old but this story is basically based on a couple who got started with sex so I get it. I just feel like the author could have taken more time to develop these characters. To clarify I mean give us a little more background about where these people came from and why they are the way they are. It was like they screw and screw and the next thing we know they are in love! Then all of a sudden Ethan became this insecure love-struck guy… it was still good and entertaining. If you want to listen to a cliche romance to pass the time, this book is for you! Sebastian York is amazing as usual! Bottom line, I do recommend this book! Happy listening guys!

Historia
I believe in love. It just doesn’t believe in me. I date. I’m all for giving guys a chance. I’ve just never met the one. Until on a spring morning in the English countryside, a tall, dark stranger emerges from the mist. Logan Steele is all tousled hair, hard chest, and lips so perfect I want to reach out and touch them, just to check they’re real. Did I mention he’s an Earl with a self-made fortune? But when I find out Logan Steele is out to destroy everything I’ve dedicated my life to protect, the chemistry disappears and the hope that had blossomed my chest turns to rage.

This book in the series was the worst one…
Revisado: 09-19-21
I’d like to start out by saying Shane East is an amazing narrator. In my opinion he can bring life and romance to just about anything! He can’t carry the girl’s role too though! She needs to go read stuffy Shakespeare stuff and forget romance! Her narration of this book is just not her forte!
Secondly, this is the last book left in the series for me and for some reason the storyline is just failing to hold my attention. Seriously I’m struggling so hard with this one that I still have 3/12 hours left and I’m already writing this mediocre review… I’m gonna stick with it and hope for the best. If something amazing happens and draws me in I’ll come back and update and eat my word! (Except for the female narrator part!)
If you haven’t listened to the rest of the series listen to all the others first and save this pile for last. The rest of the series was wonderful!
Happy listening, Peers!

So disappointed! Don’t waste the credit!
Revisado: 07-22-21
I LOVE Nora Roberts! I haven’t come across one of her books I didn’t like… until THIS ONE. I made it to chapter 4. It is SO BORING. I have had to rewind this so many times because my mind starts wandering while I’m listening. The narration is great, hence the 3 stars for overall, but this story just straight up SUCKS. SUPER disappointing.

This hilarious book has been adapted especially for the audiobook edition so you’ll hear all of the same fun and humor from the printed version but you don’t have to make any decisions or jump around - just kick back, relax and listen. Plus, it features exclusive bonus audio of young Neil delivering an adorable speech! That’s audio you won’t hear in any version of this book other than the audiobook!

Excellent and HIGHLY Entertaining!
Revisado: 09-19-20
Full disclosure, I like reading/listening to some of my favorite celebrities’ autobiographies. This one is HANDS DOWN my favorite! There are two reasons: first is that Neil managed to stay positive and upbeat while sharing the good AND bad experiences of his life! His sense of humor is AMAZING! His candidness and ability to laugh at himself is utterly refreshing and relatable! Secondly, this is personal for me. I went to school with him in Ruidoso, NM. We were in band together, knew the same people, and I passed him in the halls. Mr. Cooke and Mr. Flores were also my teachers as well as my mother’s co-workers because she taught at our high school-home of the Ruidoso High School Warriors and Ruidoso Middle School Braves! I remember him singing in the choir and playing the oboe and French horn in band. He was small with a GIGANTIC personality! My friend Sarah Echols had a huge crush on him when we were in middle school and she could never understand why he didn’t seem interested in her whatsoever! Obviously it came to light later as to why this was! Haha! We were all so proud of him when he was cast in Clara’s Heart! I remember a group of us playing a prank on Mr. Cooke at Mountaineer Band camp where he put Nair in his shampoo late one night! It was great listening to him speak about our quaint little mountain town so fondly! If you are in ANY way a fan of NPH I PROMISE you will enjoy this! Please buy it and hopefully enjoy it as much as I did! He truly is a GREAT guy!

What a joy!
Revisado: 01-14-20
Once again, Jude doesn’t disappoint! This story was a definite feel-good listen that left me smiling. I’m sure we ALL have things in life that we wish we could have a “do over” I hopes of a different outcome. The ability to take the knowledge that we have obtained from life experience and apply it to date that will greatly alter the outcomes of our entire lives! This book allowed for just that with three awesome women! If you are reading this and have not yet had the pleasure of experiencing one of Jude Deveraux’s books, I BEG YOU, begin NOW! As a lifelong fan of this author, this one, as many other books of hers, has left me wanting MORE. I experienced ALL the emotions and I’m pretty sure you will too! Thank you, Jude! Now I must go as I have the next book in this series to listen to now!

One of Nora’s best!
Revisado: 12-01-19
I must say this is one of my favorite Nora Roberts books! I thought that the story was imaginative and complex. I liked that it started from the beginning of the character’s childhood meeting and continued all the way to adulthood. I loved being taken along all of the twists and turns of Luke and Roxy’s journey into adulthood. The glamour and excitement of them being jewel thieves under the guise of being top notch magicians really appealed to me. The deep seated love and passion with a little bit of heartbreak along the way kept me wanting to keep listening! Even though some didn’t enjoy the narration, I thought she did an excellent job with the different voices. Finally, I felt the story had a happy and satisfying ending! My advice is listen to this book for yourself and form your own opinion. Keep in mind, this is a work of fiction and that’s what makes it fun! Just enjoy the escape and relax! Cheers!

Historia
When I saw my escape, I took it. Now I'm in New York City and trying to get my life back on track. Despite the tracker in my ankle, Crow hasn't come for me. He hasn't even called me. I told him the depth of my feelings but he cruelly rejected them. Maybe he's forgotten about me. One day, I walk into my apartment and spot the pile of buttons on the counter. I never left them there, and there's only one explanation for their presence. Maybe Crow hasn't forgotten me after all.

Really Good Trilogy!!!!
Revisado: 08-28-19
Let me start by saying that this trilogy of books is not for everyone! There is definitely difficult content and subject matter in these books that contain violence. The harsh reality is that what happened to Pearl is something that unfortunately does happen to women in real life. Sex trafficking is alive and well in the world. If you are tired of the same old cliche romance novels and can handle the dark edge of this storyline, these books are great! The main characters are well developed and the narration is well executed. I found myself completely immersed in the story and was able to identify with both Pearl and Crowe, as written from both perspectives. I will not get into the storyline in this review as I feel you need to just give it a full listen! I will say that you should stick with it because the outcome is favorable!! I really liked these books because they are still romantic despite the dark content! I had gotten tired of the same old boy meets girl, have conflict while falling in love, then live happily ever after! Full disclosure? This was my second time listening to this trilogy and I think I loved it even MORE the second time! Happy listening to those of you who are open-minded enough to do so! Five stars all around!

Loved this story so much!!!
Revisado: 07-18-18
I laughed, I cried, I cursed in anger, and I completely melted! The characters are well developed and full of personality. If you’re looking for an overall feel good story, this one delivers and then some in my opinion! I’ve read/listened to a TON of romance and this one was particularly good for me! I will probably save this one and listen to it again. It was THAT good! It was no real life story, but that’s the beauty of fiction! Great ending! I’m looking forward to listening to the next book to find out who Nicholas’ brother Henry falls for!
