Kyle did it again. ANOTHER fantastic start of a fantastic series. Don’t let the length worry you, it’s absolutely full of action, never a wasted second, without being too overwhelming.

Kerei Has Done It Again

I don’t normally by books under 12 hours, but I knew I couldn’t pass up a new Kerei book and I was proven completely right. The book is absolutely fantastic, it totally holds up when compared to Unorthodox Farmer while being VERY different. A fantastic start to another series with excellent potential. I really enjoyed his take on Vampires and the new world he is establishing. I was engrossed from beginning to end, and enjoyed every second. Well worth your time.

The Best One Yet

Absolutely fantastic continuation to the series. The stakes and struggles have been raised, and new betrayals and twists occur, but powerful new abilities and allies emerge as well. More lore is given detailing the old gods and the wider universe is given some good world-building. The stage is set for an absolutely intense sixth book as well. Read this and you won’t be disappointed.

Ignore the Naysayers

I’m writing this partly in response to the negative reviews. This book is the same great content as the others. Everyone’s crying about it being “half a book” I say they are entitled. There are many books on this site for less than 10 hours. Saying 15 is too short is ridiculous. The MC further develops his abilities and mindset, we are given more hints about the larger aspects of the universe, and the current arc is brought to a close. Also, the next book will be out in 2 months as of the posting of this review, so it’s not as off you’ll have to wait long to continue.

Ignore The Morons, This Is Great

If my time with Audible has taught me anything, it’s that negative reviews aren’t worth a single cent. This book continues to prove that. More characters are introduced, characterization continues to progress, the stage is set for the coming war, and the stakes and scope of that war are expanded significantly. This book is every bit as good as those previous, ignore the reviews lambasting it, they were written by fools that want you to miss out on good work.

A Masterpiece

Fantastic, yet another amazing tale in a truly wonderful series. The writing is excellently descriptive, if a tad purple prosey, the characters, settings, and situations are all masterfully written, and kept me at the edge of my seat. The only negative I can give is that you will almost definitely loose sleep to this book.

An Amazing Start To A Promising Series

I loved this book, the magic system is truly interesting, the characters are all very well fleshed out, the plot is exciting, with plenty of twists and turns, and it actually gets a lot done, while setting the stage for much more. Nick Podehl is AMAZING as always, a unique voice for every character. His narration really adds to the story. I also find the world fascinating, and loved every time some aspect of it was explained in greater detail. I'd reccomend for everyone to try it, but I espeacially reccomend people who enjoy fantasy, action, or interesting characters/plots.
