How bad do you want it?

No trick question here but the trick or treat of the answer is that it requires constant ability to grow beyond conditioning through applied learning and undying dedication to a cause or belief that the impossible is possible and never giving up!

Historia
How can we summon a moment of lift for human beings - and especially for women? Because, when you lift up women, you lift up humanity. For the last 20 years, Melinda Gates has been on a mission to find solutions for people with the most urgent needs, wherever they live. Throughout this journey, one thing has become increasingly clear to her: If you want to lift society up, you need to stop keeping women down.

Moment of Lift
Revisado: 05-13-19
The story of Ana definitely shows how moments of lift can evoke change. I love how Melinda Gates from my perspective approaches from that of a programmer examining every facet and is able to compile that into a big picture narrative that simplified the key problem and how through first empathy and then the science of technology can change and empower women and create shared relationship based equality.
Lastly what took me by surprise was how important contraception specifically the empowerment of being able to control when to have a child. The part about how condoms were viewed by males and... My urge is that men read this or in my case listen it is quite sobering how fundamentally skewed and ingrained my perception of reality of I on a large part unconsciously interacted and behaved. The silver lining is that never once does she blame or condemn but rather join in the power of lifting together.
