Historia
Newbery Award-winner Gary Paulsen's best-known book comes to audio in this breathless, heart-gripping drama about a boy pitted against the wilderness with only a hatchet and a will to live. On his way to visit his recently divorced father in the Canadian mountains, thirteen-year-old Brian Robeson is the only survivor when the single-engine plane crashes. His body battered, his clothes in shreds, Brian must now stay alive in the boundless Canadian wilderness.

A Great Classic Book
Revisado: 07-22-22
It's about a story of the main character surviving in the wild, very like Robinson Crusoe.

Historia
Coke and Pepsi McDonald didn’t want to jump off a cliff. They didn't want to get hit by poisoned darts from blowguns either. And they certainly don't want to get locked in their burning school, thrown into a pit at the top of a sand dune, or drowned in a vat of liquefied Spam. But what are you supposed to do when you’re being chased across the country by your insane health teacher and two guys in bowler hats who are trying to kill you? One thing's for sure, it'll be a snap for Coke and Pep to write their essays on "How I Spent My Summer Vacation."

Generally great but may cause discomfort

Second time of listening!
THE PLOT
Following the main character's journey across the U.S. sounds new to me, especially visiting some places that really exist. This is a science-fiction book which also talks about secret agents and mysteries. The twins joined a secret organization called TGF, therefore some people were trying to kill them. At the same time, they need to accomplish a mission while taking the cross country trip on the RV with their family.
CHARACTERS
Each person has their own characteristics. I like reading about people in different aspects and perspectives. Characters with complicated emotions are often more realistic. I think we can relate to the characters in this book. The twins both have their advantages and disadvantages instead of two well-rounded, straight A and intelligent kids.
ANYTHING SPECIAL?
1. You can follow the twins on the map!
2. Cyphers are included in the story!
CONCLUSION
A great book! Some scenes may bring discomfort to children (killing). Think twice if you mind! I am looking forward to the next book!
PS
Do villains die only because they speak too much and pay more attention to rituals? (The men didn't want to kill the twins using guns just because they thought it would be too easy. Another Voldemort?)

Historia
Curious to see if people on the other side of the globe walk upside down, Robert, Anthea, Cyril, Jane, and their baby brother start digging a hole to Australia. They don’t get too far, however, before they dig up a furry brown creature with bat’s ears. It is a Psammead, an ancient sand-fairy. The Sammyadd, as the children call it, grumpily tells them that he is obliged to grant their wishes, because making people’s wishes come true is what Sandfairies do. However, there is one catch: The wishes come undone at sunset.

Interesting! You can see children's naive through the story. It satisfied our dream of magic. In conclusion, a great classic!
