Historia
From #1 New York Times-best-selling author Nora Roberts comes a novel of a woman who needs nothing, a man who sees everything, and the web of deceit, greed, and danger that brings them together - and that could tear them apart… As a professional house-sitter and freelance writer, nothing ties Lila Emerson down - not her work, not a home, and definitely not a relationship. She spends her life moving from one job to the next, sometimes crashing at a friend's Manhattan apartment.

Historia
Having entered the British Navy at the age of 12, Horatio Lord Nelson achieved the rank of captain at the age of 20. As captain, he was quickly recognized as a magnetic and controversial figure. He triumphed at Cape St. Vincent and the Nile, but failed at Tenefife and Boulogne. With the glories of Copenhagen and Trafalgar yet ahead of him, his ardent passion for Emma Hamilton, the wife of a British Ambassador, cast a heavy shadow over his career.

Poor selection, slurping, Sex!!
Revisado: 02-03-16
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
When I look for something non-fiction and academic I look for quality .i.e Poets corner by John Lithgow.
Would you ever listen to anything by The Great Courses again?
I doubt it.
How could the performance have been better?
It is clear that the presenter is very very capable but maybe I am not the market you are looking for.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. There is so much uplifting quality stuff available. Maybe this is an academic situation and I am looking for something that is not so in-your-face. I believe that I want to be entertained as well as being educated. I don't expect that sex has to be such an issue in an academic presentation.

Mikael Blomkvist is contacted by renowned scientist Professor Balder. Fearing for his life, but more concerned for his son's well-being, Balder wants Millennium to publish his story. More interesting to Blomkvist than Balder's advances in Artificial Intelligence, is his connection with a certain female superhacker. It seems that Lisbeth Salander, like Balder, is a target of ruthless cyber gangsters that will soon bring terror to the streets of Stockholm, the Millennium team....

Virtually seamless!
Revisado: 09-28-15
What did you love best about The Girl in the Spider's Web?
I appreciated the way that David Lagercrantz the new author continued the series and story line in a seamless manner. Reading the English translation gave a very close feel to the earlier books.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Girl in the Spider's Web?
I found the story with in the story of Nadia the young artistic autistic girl which I assumed was a reference to a factual case to be cleverly and interestingly handled.
Which scene was your favorite?
The rescue of Augustus from the clinic is well handled high action in my opinion. No
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No-but I am extremely happy that it is highly likely that I will be able to carry on with Millenium.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoy the way Saul Reichlin performs and this too provides excellent continuity.

The brand new Jack Reacher short story, published as a digital exclusive. The tiny town of Naismith has nothing going for it - except the start of a wilderness trail through Maine's ancient forests. But one day the trail is suddenly closed by county police. No reason is given. Rumours start - is there something in the woods that no one must see? That no one must even know about? Then Jack Reacher drifts into town. What does he make of the Do Not Enter tape strung between the trees?

Yes. A great author hero and performer.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?
The Performer tried to make something of a pot-boiler.
What character would you cut from Not a Drill?
If I was Lee Child I would not have published this book.
Any additional comments?
I am sorry to be negative as I am a great admirer of Lee Child.
