Great world building
Revisado: 02-28-25
Awesome book. Probably the best world building he’s had in his series. I like the development. I didn’t think the characters were even close to being as inappropriate as last book.

On the Rise
Revisado: 09-05-23
Overall, I think this series started too early. It seems to me that book one is largely setup and world building for the rest of the series. Book two is where I feel the story largely gains traction.
Certain pieces of information are either withheld from the reader or simply left unexplained, especially in the first book. This leads to seemingly erratic character actions and weak character motivations in the first book.
The romance plot is introduced too late in the first book. (Content notice: There are a number of sex scenes throughout both books. Get this book if you like spice. Avoid it if you don’t.)
I think the romance plot could have been leveraged for more tension, particularly in the second book when the former fiance comes back into the picture, but I can also appreciate that the relationship is stable by that point and isn’t the focus of the story.
Despite those complaints, the world is consistent, the characters are fun, the writing style is enjoyable, and the fight scenes are well done.
Furthermore, the second book shows remarkable improvement, largely avoiding my complaints with the first book.
For me, the first book gets two stars, but the second gets four and I’m choosing to rate this based on the improved second book in the hopes that future books are even better.

The methods contained within this book are so simple, so instantaneous, and so effective, it’s as if they work by magic. If you implement even one tactic in this book, you’ll see the change in your prospects' demeanor. And you’ll know the $100M Offers method worked when you start hearing, “What do I need to do to move forward?” before you even ask for the sale.

Revisado: 04-12-23
Great book and author. I don’t think it did a great job setting up the plot for this book so it felt very slice of life and mundane at times.
That being said, I love what the author has going and will for sure but book 4

Background noise, political struggling, awesome magic
Revisado: 10-30-20
The story remind me very much of Star Wars books. I believe that’s because of the noise you hear as if you were in the environment.
