I really tried to like this one. As the story started out, I just knew Lulu would come back, after college as a smart, successful and mature adult. Not so much.... she is the epitome of the term ‘airhead’. I loved Beau he is the epitome of a real man. He needed a real woman. The narrators did a good job though!

Sorry to say but this book was NO where as good as Crank!

I am sure I will be the odd man out here, but this was so slow - to say the least. Why did it take so many chapters for the two characters to connect? Additionally, the heroine was no where near compatible with with the hero. The hero was likable, the heroine, not so much. Very l boring and I will likely return for a credit. Performance was good, but it could not save it for me.

Disappointment

I may be the only reviewer to think this, but this was a disappointment. I was looking forward to this book because I so enjoyed the first book in the series.

Overall I liked the hero Henry. He was the same wild and crazy Henry we met in book one. The heroine, with her perpemnsaity to dress in black, inability to speak, and her inability to communicate with other, just ruined it for me. They were not compatible and overall she was annoying. I almost quit several times but kept pushing through hoping it would get better and much more interesting.

Narrators performed well and tried their best to save this, but for me it was to no avail.

I think this is the first book of EC that I have been this disappointed in.

Love MM books but this one....

I love MM books, but I am a bit disappointed in this one. The heroine was a little too much for me. She supposedly is smart, but does not come across that way! I tried to make myself like her so that I would enjoy the story line more, I just could not get there. I did like the hero, Logan. Seemed to really have a good heart. Narration great as always with those two!

I really tried to like this book

I really tried to like this book but the heroine was such a B---ch and had more daddy issues than anyone should have! The author would had been well served to tone it down a lot on the daddy issues. Books should come with a warning that the characters have mental issues that ruin the book. Probably will not purchase this author's books again.
The narrator was great as always - love York's voice. He was the only thing that saved this book!

Another good one!

Really enjoyed this book! No
Really funny moments like the book Twisted but still a really good listen - so much so I listened to the entire book in one day! Keep writing Emma and keep your female characters those with smarts and wit something I like about your character development! They always seem to be a good match to the heroine in both looks and smarts!

Disappointed in Massey!

Would have liked this much better if Massey had not been ultimately weak and selfish. Liked books one and parts but not all of book two; However, admittedly skipped most of book three due to Massey"s Selfishness! Not sure will listen to this author again due to this story outcome!

Not all women are this weak and this absolutely selfish!

The story was enjoyable but the narrator is absolutely awful!

The story line was good, but not the best. However, I could have liked it much more had there been a better narrator - Sophie Eastlake for example. I would entertain listening to another book by this author as long as they are not read by this narrator! This narrator would be good for children's books but not adult books.

Enjoyable series

This book and book one captures you and reels you in such that you have to know how it ends. I like the sweet, heartfelt connect between Sebastian and Shay. The plot was well written.

I only had two issues with the story - in both books the author is too repetitive, especially when the characters are describing their feelings. I found myself skipping large portions of chapters to avoid the receptive parts. The other issue was that Shay starts out, in the first book, as being strong. By the second book she had cried so many times I wanted to shake her and say "pull it together!". I have read and listened to many books and have found that authors tend to make the women weak and sometimes totally unstable. Women can be emotionally strong and kind at the sane time! I wish this author had cut some of the crying!

As usual the narrators were great! Both were well suited for their characters!

I will definitely listen to this author again!

Found it a bit annoying half way in

I was disappointed in this book. I certainly expected more from the summary.
The hero good - great guy with a good heart. While the heroine was a total disaster. Over and over again she says she's supporting herself and has strength, but she cannot pay her bills, get over her last, or act like a freaking adult! So tired of hearing about her underwear with sayings on it and the butt rubbing - ugh! Total annoyance!!
