Historia
Horrifying things have been said about God’s judgment - the most terrifying is that its sorrows never end. But what if divine judgment has been gravely misunderstood? What if it has a purifying nature which transforms our heart? Hope for All explores 10 key Bible truths that support this hope. Is this too good to be true? Examine the evidence for yourself. You just might find that God is the loving Father of us all - one who never gives up on any of his children.

Such an incredible focused ride through scripture
Revisado: 11-19-20
Mr. Beauchemin has done the most approachable thorough walk through the Bible to search for the nature of God. Are we sure endless suffering awaits anyone who doesn't say the sinner's prayer and believes in Jesus? Where does the weight of evidence rest on the idea that God's punishment is endless and unredeeming? Please do yourself a favor and listen to this excellent exposition. The narrator is excellent.

Wanted to like it more
Revisado: 02-11-19
The thing that happens most in this book is the main characters ruminate constantly about who or what to trust, which could be fine if there was a lot of potential intrigue. I just felt like a lot of what was written could have been imagined by the reader while the actual events that took place felt cobbled together and not well supported. Left me asking irritatedly why did they do this or that? It was ok, but expected a little more.

Historia
Humanity, in its struggle to escape its own planet's demise, began sending colony ships from Earth almost 700 years ago in the desperate hope a handful would find someplace habitable for human life and be able to continue our species. Only one ship survived. It survived only because it found a vast swath of alien planets, all terraformed, all utterly abandoned. Alien megastructures cold and lifeless.

Terribly disjointed
Revisado: 10-13-18
The first book was decent. This one was just a bunch of repetition of character tropes and very poor transitions or integration. Hard to track. Very disappointing. Love the narrator.

Historia
There is a church not too far from us that recently added a $25 million addition to their building. Our local newspaper ran a front-page story not too long ago about a study revealing that one in five people in our city lives in poverty. This is a book about those two numbers. It's a book about faith and fear, wealth and war, poverty, power, safety, terror, Bibles, bombs, and homeland insecurity, It's about what happens when Christians support, animate, and participate in the very things Jesus came to set people free from.

this and not be changed. The audiobook is so powerful. Listening to the authors' voices I think makes a big difference.

Bob Johansson didn't believe in an afterlife, so waking up after being killed in a car accident was a shock. To add to the surprise, he is now a sentient computer and the controlling intelligence for a Von Neumann probe. Bob and his copies have been spreading out from Earth for 40 years now, looking for habitable planets. But that's the only part of the plan that's still in one piece.

What a unique and welcomed treat
Revisado: 04-21-17
Dennis Taylor A+ continues to write such wonderfully rich characters and multiple plots without losing the reader. Continues and expands upon all the good things in the first book. But damn...... Ray Porter A+ the coupling of this very unique and fun storyline with such a terrific voice and intelligent artist is unparalleled in my experience. I was so impatient for this book and now have to sadly go back to larger very good stories until book 3 comes and back to excellent. Best audio book series by far that I have enjoyed in many years.

Love the uniqueness. ..
Revisado: 06-11-16
This story plodded along way too long and there was a lot of going nowhere.....character development is at a glacial pace if existent. Too attached to their ideas and their characters and not as attached to action. I like the characters and ideas too, but very microscopic analysis of things that were not that profound. Please go back to drawing board with the next book, and introduce something a little more fast pace with more character development. Please..... Drawing things way out here..... Narrator is awesome. The linesman world and ideas awesome. This book, not nearly as good as the first.

Historia
In business, the right behaviors matter. But getting it right is tricky. Even when we acknowledge the need to change what we do and how we do it, life has a habit of getting in the way, upsetting even the best-laid plans. And just how do we manage those situations that can provoke even the most rational among us into behaving in ways we would rather forget?

It doesn't necessarily 'flow' at some points given that you are listening vs reading it that makes sense. I am someone who is highly educated and works with people toward change... This book is very helpful and insightful if you can apply the principles.
