I thought I had listened to this book when it first came out but, to my delight, I just discovered I hadn't while on a recent road trip. What an ever-loving delight!! As usual, JB Sanders gives us a keep-em-guessing mystery and Brian Rollins brings everyone to life! Highly recommended!

AUGH! I love this story!

And I was screaming at the two MCs! So... I'm not much into angst so the angst-level was a little (no, A LOT) high for me. BUT! I loved this book. I finished it two days ago and can still hear the characters in my head. I bought this for research (about making movies... seriously!) and then fell in love with the two MCs. I'll be honest... I feel sooooo mature (at 52) now that I've met Tyler and Gray. Their inner dialogue was just like mine when I was their ages and, hallelujah! I don't talk like that to myself anymore. So... to recap: great guys, definite HEA that will make you cheer, snark abounds, plenty of angst, delicious scenes, lots of steam. BUY THIS BOOK! Please...

I bought this book for research more than anything else (about making movies, ahem). The story and the characters and the narrator completely sucked me in. Highly recommended! And.... this is not a stand-alone book. However, the parts that are about the series-level story are all in their own chapters. I ended up skipping those because I was a little lost. That took NOTHING away from the story, however. And it's sending me to Book 1!

Yes! I adore this book and couldn't stop listening from the moment it began. Fortunately, on my first listen, I was driving across Texas from El Paso to Beaumont and the time flew by as I was engrossed in the story.
