Another great story by Mr Lowell

Nathan Lowell is a master storyteller. The character depth and development is wonderful. I would recommend not only this title, but all of his works to anyone who enjoys sci-fi , space “operas” and generally well written books with relatable characters.

Great story, recording quality needs some work

I hate giving only 3 stars for the performance, because the narrator does a very good job. The quality of the audio leaves something to be desired though. Almost through the entire 25hr book, there are points where the audio “skips” almost like a damaged CD. It doesn’t impede your ability to understand the plot, it’s more aggravating than anything. Great story, great narration, bad audio…

The story and performance are wonderful. The topic is something anyone interested in military history must listen to. The “leaders” who forced this outrage of a courts martial down the throats of these 3 heroes should have been ousted.

The stories are GREAT. He covered some VERY historic moments in his career. If it weren’t for the Donald Trump bashing in the last 10 minutes I would have given 5 stars. I understand “reporting” is by definition political, but his interpretation of the Trump administration is skewed by his liberal beliefs.

I thought the book started a little slow, but I understand the need to explain all the different military acronyms and structure for those of us that are unaware. Lots of gripping detailed stories of brotherhood and heroism. My favorite parts were the tellings of the psychological ops they employed against the enemy. Definitely worth a listen!
