Feeling sorry for the desperate angel assigned to him, the man relents. Heck, if it doesn't work out, he can always chat with Saint Peter about it later. Next thing you know, he's a dungeon. Admittedly, a small run-down, somewhat unimpressive dungeon (more of a house, actually), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

a great litrpg without numbers cluttering it up

I read it before and loved it now I get to listen to it and love it. best part of this entire story is the fact it's a lit RPG without the numbers cluttering up the experience. easy listen to without having to waste time remembering previous levels and whatnot.

Tree giving up in the storm fight killed my enjoyment

During the fight with the storm Tree just all of a sudden gave up and accepted his death. He didn't even try all his abilities against The Storm. He literally has an cultivation ability called between the heavens and chaos. or something to that effect.
Him giving up was out of the blue.
All his other fights he fought to The Bitter End.
the ending so irritated me I sincerely doubt I'm going to listen to book two. it took me over a week to calm down and listen to the last 40 minutes or so.

the intro was really rough, and I almost put it down. but I enjoyed his other books, and I figured why not. I'll give it a couple of chapters, and it really picked up about chapter four or five.
