Great insight and perspective on the Book of Job. This is more of a overview of the book of Job than a verse by verse commentary. Dr Morris brings the perspective of God’s creation as a basis of trust in God through difficult times.

Pat McManus is brilliant as a humorist and storyteller. Great book! And a great narrator as I listened to the audible version.

An honest look at war from those who experienced it firsthand. It is understandable that it is hard to talk about it for those who don’t understand. Thank you for this well-written book.

Great practical insights for sharing your faith

I like this book a lot as it gives very practical insights for sharing your faith. Too often when a Christian shares their faith they are more interested in winning someone over than really getting to know the person and where they’re coming from. The authors help you to stop, think, listen and ask good questions. With greater understanding, it is easier to work in cooperation with the Holy Spirit to speak to the deeper needs of a person and share the faith in Jesus the Christian has found in their own personal life. There is no strategy or plan, or gimmick in this book. It is just learning how to be “real” with the people we talk with during our day to day encounters.
