Good continuation of a good story.

Very interesting story. Glad that the story continues unbroken through each volume. I wish that the voice portrayal had more distinctivenes. Especially in regard to the female characters. The action is well described so that you can feel like you are right in the midst of the battles.

Better than T.v

Loved it. Better than T.V. Joe as Archer only better. HaHaHa. The whole series is great. Are there some tedious moments? Yes. But, overall I can't wait for the next one.

Just wanted for Bishop to be able to reveal himself to the others. Lots left to the story. Hopefully it doesn't end here. The Skippy A.I. character could stand to be toned down down some. Got to be a little bit annoying for a minute there. Love the idea of having the interspecies Legion. Can't wait to see how this works out in the upcoming installments if the author continues. As I stated, there's a lot more left. So don't leave us out there.

The crossover element worked! Questions were answered, and stimulated for future writings. The story was told in a way where even the sex parts were benign, because of the environment that the writer created. Who needs television when you have as good a listen as this.

A good story in a time when it seems like most are founded on an illustrated storyboard. Set in an alien world it has the overtones of a "What if" Wolverine and Wonder Woman had a child plot. Though interesting, the story seemed to sometimes lose its power like a vehicle that is going up a very steep grade. The good thing is that it never stopped and we finally made the journey. Though Dark and tragic. The plight of the young protagonist, through the author, definitely brings about sympathy and could even wring a tear or two from a sensitive reader. The authors desire to show the strength of his heroine in a well rounded fashion is well done. Reluctant heroes and heroines show their real strength in their selflessness and desires to benefit others. A book not for everyone, yet what book is?

I find it interesting that of all the Books in this genre this series is by far the best in combining real life issues (Alzheimer's and probable treatment etc. ) with escapism fantasy leading into Science fiction. With all of the attention given to Elon Musks theory on V.R. and " Higher Powers the autbor invites you to actually rise above and really invest in the characters.

A good read or listen for rainy days, long trips, or when cable goes out. Not for literature purists who think that every written work should be 19th century. Work is indicative of the techno Nerd culture that is prevalent today. Horny Elf and all.

Colonel Joe Bishop made a promise and he's going to keep it; taking the captured alien starship Flying Dutchman back out. He doesn't agree when the UN decides to send almost 70 elite Special Operations troops, hotshot pilots, and scientists with him; the mission is a fool's errand he doesn't expect to ever return from. At least, this time, the Earth is safe, right? Not so much.

In this day of Ultra Feminist equality, and me being a big fan of Warrior Women. I found the foundation of the story a bit light and passe. The main character, Manza, could've been a little more treated in the style of the warrior. The author shows a clear confusion in how he wanted her to be portrayed. On one hand she is given the image of a bad ass Franzetta fantasy ,while on the other she's gives the impression she's Jessica Rabbit in Mail and leather seducing the idiots who pass for men. c"Mon! I can dig the whole vengeance redemption thing, but it for kinda silly when at the end we have her, a maybe baby, and an elemental Ninja.....It was cool...though. I appreciated the wry humour, but as with all audio books the reading makes a great difference. And why do they all sound like they come from the British isles? .....Well let's see if the next one is an improvement.
