Usually like stuff from this author. Didn’t love this one. This was not dark. Lots of random unanswered questions that would’ve helped me roll with the story better. NO chemistry between the main characters. Waited until the end of the book for a mediocre sex scene. And a good cliff hanger will usually get me to keep on with a series even if I didn’t love it but this book didn’t even have that. Not interested in the next in the series at all.

Just fantastic. I absolutely LOVED this story on audible. I was sad for it to end. I have enjoyed Ms. Reisz stories in the past but this one is my all time favorite. And I usually prefer stories with dual narration but this narrator did a wonderful job. 5+ stars!!

Maybe if I’d read it on my own I might have liked it a little better?? I did not care for the narrator. Her voice just did not go with the serious nature of the parts of the story. I also thought the story was kinda dumb, the sex scenes just OK. All in all I barely made it through this audiobook. Just did not love it.
