I couldn’t take it.

If you’re not fully committed and completely focused on this book, you won’t follow all the characters or even the storyline. And if you are that focused, it will be too boring to keep your attention.
Characters aren’t introduced and developed well enough. There is no sense of action or involvement in the storyline. What should be amazing events and scary situations float by like some dream because the listener doesn’t feel involved or they it is developed well enough to seem realistic.

Slog. Not worth the credit.

The writing was junk, Nowhere did you did you feel like you were immersed in this world. The narration and the writing were like someone who just woke up from a sleep and tried to tiredly tell the story of their dream - no depth or relatable reality at all. The story was like a shallow dime-store novel from the early days of science fiction, predicable and unoriginal.

Religious Bigot

Wow he must hate Mormons. Storyline is immature, and unbelievable. RC Bray did a great job as usual, but why does he narrate such junk? Skip this one.

Fuckin’ Awesome!

The music is incredible, almost acoustic, his voice has changed a little, but still so good and real to his style.
The story is great, stories I’ve never heard and funny.

Seems like this book was just there to wrap up the series. Just didn’t do much for me. Wil Wheaton’s performance was great though!

Jarring change of narration

Luke Daniels is one of my favorite narrators. But this did NOT work. The characters are not the same - I found the "main" voice in this narration sounded more like a different character of the previous books, so it's a confusing listen. Vikas Adams did better female voices too, so when Danni the dungeon wisp was speaking it sounded like a different male character. Good story, A rather odd ending, but in the end, the narration ruined it.

Leftovers

I love the MHI series, but this didn't do it for me. These seem to be stories from earlier in the series that didn't make the edit into the books the were intended for. Oliver Wyman does a fantastic job as usual. I would only recommend this book if you're really hard up for MHI.

Lost its way.

This series is going down-hill. Just not interesting anymore. Not enough action and too much discussion about nebulous plot-lines that don't get developed or resolved. The same goes for the characters, opining about character motivations that don't add to the story.

One of the all-time best books of this genre

Great story-line with a plot that takes you down several paths without being disjointed. Owen, the main character is likable and funny. Fantastic action. The first hour will have you on your seat edge!
Oliver Wyman does a masterful job at narration bringing the characters to life in your minds eye and makes the different characters distinct, all with enjoyable personalities.
