This was very well written, and performed. The love story portion of this book was lovely. I felt sorry for Prince Harry and Meghan, and even his family. Like the author said, they live in the strangest “bubble inside a bubble”. I recommend this book 100%.

When You Stop To Review

If you have ever reviewed a book, then you know that rare moment when you finish one and you immediately go to the review section because you have to tell people how good the book is; well, this is that book! I won’t get into the details of what it contains or how it’s written, except to say that it is brilliantly done. Viola Davis’ story is heartbreaking, inspiring and just so beautiful. You will not regret this purchase. I highly recommend it. It’s one of the best I’ve listened to this year, so far. I have major ADHD distraction problems, yet this book is the fastest I have ever finished in my history of listening to books.

Great Memoir

This book was very well written and the stories are at times heartbreaking, shocking, inspiring and funny. The one thing I hated was that she dissed Celine Dion. That was completely unnecessary and it made me grimace and contemplate putting the book down. She doesn’t call Celine out by name but a YouTube watch tells you exactly what she was talking about. That said, I wanted to finish the book because it does capture the reader. It was a fun read.

Started Off Great Then , Yikes!

This book started with so much potential. The first few chapters made a very good point about where we are in an overly abused PC culture. Then it took a turn that left me with an image of Ellis hunched over, angry and sweaty, in a full blown bitch rant. The book was a one-sided, biased recounting of the last three years. Granted, he is the writer, so he has every right to whatever view he had. The book came off completely bitter and left me with one feeling… ugh. It was hard to shake that off. It felt... just... ugh.

Get this audiobook! It is witty and a very . . . surprising one. It’s charming, funny, accurate, emotional, and more. You will be entertained. The narrators are excellent!

Just... WOW

Trevor Noah's story is so good, it could be made into a movie. I don't even know where to begin. You'll learn about what life in like in South Africa; his life and in general. You'll see what a mother's love can produce. You will feel happiness and empathy for Trevor. You will feel joy, sadness, hope, and redemption(ish). He is more brilliant and inspiring than I could have imagined him to be. This has become one of my favorite books. I laughed and, f***, I cried. I didn't expect that. It was just... WOW.

Unique, Funny, Heartfelt, Inspiring

Taraji's book was one of the best autobiographies I have ever listened to. She tells her story in such a humorous way, but when it comes to the emotional stuff, it gets serious and you feel her pain. This is the first time that I have cried while listening to an audiobook. It also inspired me to go for what I want in life. She is an amazing woman and I loved her story. She is a very good writer. She's very descriptive.

Knowledge Before The Masses

This is a very informative book of what is known of the epigenome, and what is to come in the future. It talks a little about what we can do to start changing our DNA now, by changing our habits. It is not a how-to book, but it gives us a head-start, until specific gene treatment, of some sort, will be available to ward off diseases of the body and mind, which will be passed on to the DNA of unborn children and their children's children.
