I'm hopping for the rest of the book

The story is very interesting and engaging. But, when you think there will be a closure, it just ends abruptly. It'smissing an end. All the construction up to the end was very good, scary and well developed.

Different but good

This isn't the kind of book expected from the master of horror, with super-kids and conspiracies, but still a very engaging story and I had a lot of fun with it. I recommend, but don't go in expecting the usual thriller SK gave us.

Next time, go easy on the sound effects

It's very nice to have an extended version of the film, and the music that comes with it makes it even more appreciable. The problem is the sound effects, especially the 'robotic' ones. I'm not talking about BB-8 or R2-D2, but the beeping and dings of a background 'space craft'. It distracts from the story and gets annoying by the second. I had to stop listening for a while and come back later whenever the beeping started.

Half interesting premise, badly worded

The story seemed interesting at first, but just got annoying during the reading. The writing is very simple, in a way that reminded me of E.L. James and Stephenie Meyer, and that is not good at all. The narration is not bad but, without a plot that goes deeper, it gets lost in the mess as well. Quite disappointing.

What could be a very entertaining story, specially for a Disney fan, becomes a little torture, wanting to follow the plot with the most horrible narration I've ever experienced. Bad rhythm, even worst 'voices'. The hero sounds like a thug with a sore throat! What a waste!

It's a good reading, and a real jem if you consider that it's the author of the book that is reading! But being abridged, you lose a lot of the book, that is very detailed and interesting. Even so, the abridging is good and, even if you are left with a few information missing, the overall idea is passed correctly.

Slow Down!

The reading of this book is done in such a speed that left me breathless! It is very hard to enjoy the flow of the story with such a hurry. The sentences are pasted together and there is no rhythm to the text, making if much more difficult that the story deserves, being such a nice novel. The story, on the other hand, is very enjoyable, a very fun Sidney Sheldon book that changes the normal leading lady from the other books to a male spy running around the world in a global conspiracy!
