There is an endless supply of business books. The default perspective is that work should be set by arbitrary priorities created in the spur of the moment or whatever the current fashion is. Growth, scale, bureaucracy, and long hours are king. Basecamp provides an alternative: work small and smart.

A clear and objective presentation of the facts about charters and the charter school debate. I have read several of Sowell's books and I am always blown away by how well he explains controversial topics. The political side of the charter debate will doubtless be far less rational.
