I love this whole series but I think this is my favorite book so far of the series. While this can be read as a stand alone book, it adds so much when you read/listen to them all, since the characters overlap in each book . This is a sweet love story with very little angst and a bit of steam mixed in.

Bowie and Poppy are incredible together. They hit it off on their first meeting but Bowie has been burned in a relationship before and has closed himself off. Poppy slowly melts those walls down till he can admit his feelings.

Samantha Brentmoor and JF Harding did an amazing job narrating this book and with Lily D Moore made the perfect cast for this book.

Duet Box set

Deadly Illusion:

If you have issues reading or in this case listening to a story about domestic violence, don't listen to this. I can listen to just about any sort of story with out any triggers and this one got to me, the first third of the book was very difficult to listen to and the last part was also. Now with that out of the way...

This is a very well written and engrossing story that even though it was hard to listen to I couldn't stop, I had to know what happened. Its very well written and the characters are well developed. The story took me on an emotional roller coaster and had me almost in tears at times. It did end in a HEA but the FMC had to go through hell to get there.

The narrators ,Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson, for the most part did an amazing job on this book. My only thing I would have like is if Sarah Puckett would have used more emotion in her voice...at times (to me at least) she sounded almost bored as she read, her voice was too even for some of the things going on.

Fatal Cure:

I really liked this story. It had a lot of depth and a few twists. What I didnt like much was the FMC. For a DEA agent who grew up the way she did...she comes across as really naive at times. Other than that...i felt the book was really good and worth the listen.

I enjoyed the narrators on this book. They pulled me in with their story telling and held my interest all the way through.

Riggs & Stella

Wow this was a heart wrenching story. This second chance love story that starts when the MMCs are children and follow into adulthood. Riggs & Stella became best friends as children and that grew in to love. The story covers struggles both MMcs have and fight through. The only thing i didnt like was the jumping back and forth of the time lines. That's the only reason I gave 4 starts instead of five. That made the story harder for me to sit and listen through.

Stephen Dexter and Emma WIlder did an amazing job on the narration of this book. They fit the parts perfectly.

Jack and Wren

I love these books and this one did not disappoint. This is a best friends little sister and enemies to lovers story. The story starts out explaining why they they hate each other and from there the story takes off and gets better.

Both narrators are amazing on the audio book.

Lulu and Rafe

I"m going to start off by saying I absolutely loved this story. Lulu and Rafe are a perfect couple. Right from their first not so great meeting you know they are going to have sparks and they do not disappoint. They have great chemistry and play off each other well. Then, you also get to check in with other couples from previous books that make appearances, including more family text threads. I love how this book flows and I listened to it all in one setting. I cant wait for the next book.

Both narrators, Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwin, did an excellent job on this book.

Archer and Ella. Sweet romance story.

This was a sweet grumpy/sunshine love story. Archer the oldest of the siblings took over the winery when their father took ill, giving up his dreams in the process. Ella the rom-com princess comes to the winery to start making plans for her "wedding". Archer has an intense dislike for her at first and wants nothing to do with her. But his sister keeps having him work with her on things and he meets the real Ella, not the celebrity he thought she was.

You can tell right from the start there is chemistry with Archer and Ella...even if Archer wants to ignore it. These two bring out the best in each other and its great to see how their characters develop in the story.

The narrators were spot on for this book. They were a pleasure to listen to and the book flew by.

I was hooked on the story right from the start and then it felt like it kinda dropped off on holding my attention after the first few chapters till about half way through . I liked this story a lot, but listening to it I think may have been the problem. I dont know...something just didnt click for me. It is a great complex story and the characters had depth and growth in the story. It did end in a cliff hanger...which i did not expect...no where did it say that this was part one.
The narrators did a great job on this book.

Aaron and Blue

I LOVED this book. I love a good MC story and this was definitely up there. This is the last book of the series but the first book of Gianas I have listened to. I can't wait to go back and read or listen to the rest of the series, just getting a taste of the rest of the crew was not enough.

Aaron (AKA Boner) stops at a highway gas station on his way to do club business and seeing the girl behind the counter with blue hair and eyes and instantly needs to get to know her . While hes getting his items 4 guys in masks come into the gas station to rob it and Aaron is having none of that. Him taking out the bad guys and rescuing his girl sets off this adventure and their wild ride to their HEA

The narrators,Gregory Salinas and Lee Daniels, did an outstanding job on this book. I was hooked right from the start till the very end.

Another amazing story for this series

This was a wonderful story about best friends who both loved each other but the time was just never right for them. Rhodes and Elle have known each other 13 yrs and would do anything for each other. Elle is the godmother to Rhodes son and Rhodes has always been her rock when she had to any issues to deal with. Now she is a cheerleader for the Mustangs, Rhodes football team, and there are very strict rules about cheerleaders and players spending time together. So it starts to put a strain on their friendship.

This book, like all the others in this series is fun, funny and truly heartfelt. I think this might be my favorite of the series so far.

The narrator,Sean Crisden and Angelina Rocca, were both new to me and I think they did a terrific job bringing this book to life.
