Alright, I was drawn into this and I finished it in just two sitting but the end!. Oh my God the END! I went from being intrigued to in love, to tears and then to utter hate as I listened to this book. It was a well thought out, amazingly performed book but my how I wish it had ended differently. I was so in love with these character. Yet no matter how much I wish things were different this was a really good book! And you know as I write this review I finally understand the title...

Too Technical

Great book where old meets new. the narrator is easy to listen to and the story keeps you thinking. But, I'm pretty sure if I weren't a graphic designer myself I wouldn't understand half the tech terms thrown around in this book. It was a good read but I found myself zoning out alot as the narrator went on explaining all the tools he used on the books.

I couldn't make it past the past two hours. The narrator was bland and there were way too many historical notes covering up the actual story to enjoy it.

Honestly I never really listened to Willie Nelson before and I picked up this book because of the title. I've always known who he was, my dad is a fan, but never did I truly know his story.

This audio book is like sitting on the back porch with your grandfather and listening to his unbelievable but true life. It was beautifully told and the accent gave me the comfort of home.

Willie is a remarkable man whose story is well worth listening too. He has had a life time worth telling full of riches, success, and determination and yet is still humble and down to earth. I would have finished this book sooner if I didn't stop every single chapter to listen to whatever song he had mentioned.

This story had and ending i never expected! It was beautifully written and well performed. I must say this narrator is now one of my favorites.

I listened to this book with obvious clues as to how it ended but I was wrong. The end will have you in shock. That's all I can say. I'm glad I had added this to my summer reading list! It was a nice surprise.

Heart breaking!

I love this book! It's the first to make me feel so strongly and passionately about two love birds. By the time I neared the end of this book my heart was aching for a happier ending. I was wretched in tears multiple times because I knew how her story ended but didn't want to believe it.

This was a powerful read and it is a story that you will leave both loving and hating.

Beautiful story!

I got this book thinking nothing of it. Just another book to entertain myself for a week a work. Next thing I know I'm writhing at my desk as the story came to an end only on day two of listening!

It's such a wonderful story about suffering and discovering self and the world during wretched teenage years. I loved how it felt like someone was actually telling me a story. It made every event more vivid and clear.

A must read for 2015!

I love this narrator and the book kept me entertained for days. It was a bit predictable but it kept me second guessing my thoughts. I love the writing style and hope to read more from this author!

Unexpected treasure

I didn't expect much from this but it was a wonderful short story. A simple man who never left the gates I his garden steps out into a new world and a new life.
