great book!
Revisado: 04-13-10
This one was my favorite- you have to read the first two to get the full impact of what happens in this book... I run while listening to my audio books, and I actually was so wrapped up at one point, I had to stop running, I was in tears! Great book!

Historia
A movie director is charged with murdering an actress during sex, and then staging her death to make it look like a suicide. In a seemingly unrelated case, a loner is murdered, leaving the sheriff's department with no clues. One unsettling revelation after another leaves a retired FBI agent and an L.A. detective thinking they've unmasked a most frightening killer with almost inconceivable calculation.

good listen!

As all of his books, he gets a little long winded sometimes, but the book really comes together at the end! Worth reading (listening)!

Historia
Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense pro who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car, to defend clients at the bottom of the legal food chain. It's no wonder that he is despised by cops, prosecutors, and even some of his own clients. But an investigator is murdered for getting too close to the truth and Haller quickly discovers that his search for innocence has taken him face to face with a kind of evil as pure as a flame.

slow start... worth it in the end!
Revisado: 08-10-09
I have listened/read two of his books now- both of them got a little long winded, but both were excellent! This one starts off a little slow, but the twist somewhere in the middle is where it picks up, and it is worth hanging in there!

read pop goes the weasel first!
Revisado: 06-16-09
this book is starting to get good (i'm 2 hours in) but I am wishing I had read pop goes the weasel first, so now I am downloading it to listen to first- don't care for the narrator, but books on audio are so handy!

reading not as good as first 4
Revisado: 01-02-09
This was I think the first book to be recorded, and the reading isn't as good as the first 4 books she narrated--- she didn't do a bad job, but the first 4 were better read...
