A Wonderful Escape!
Revisado: 07-29-22
I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely story and Jessica's beautiful narration of it. I did not hesitate to finish and found myself eager to find the time to listen to the immersive tale. Any lover of Sweet Regency Romance, will delight in Mr. Gardiner and Miss Sharp's story.
Alice's character is used to being the unwanted relation. For once, she has an opportunity to find her place, making her own way through work as a governess-at a Duke's home no less. When literally stumbling over a man she presumes to be the gardener in a moment of free time, she is shocked to learn him to be the Duke's hired Entomologist
And a gentleman, as well. She of course thinks her beneath his notice but the man keeps surprising her at every turn. Does he not realize how delicate her position is? And could he truly be sincere to only a governess?
Rupert Gardiner is used to noticing the little creatures, as his fascination and studies lie in the creepy and crawlers of the world. He has yet to find a young woman not turned off or disinterested by the subject, but the new governess proves otherwise. Though she does not seem to appreciate the rare and talented individual that she is. Soon, his fascination extends beyond his garden cataloguing work and shifted to a most unique study, in how he may win this governess' heart.

Historia
A third son to an earl, Adam Gillensford knows his only hope of an inheritance is through his great uncle. But when the Will is read, Adam learns most of the wealth has been left to a complete stranger, and a seamstress at that. If he hopes to salvage any kind of funds for himself, he has two choices: adhere to his late uncle’s wishes and assist the new heiress in finding her way, or sabotage her so the courts will find her unfit to inherit. Deciding his course would be easier if the heiress wasn’t so enchanting.

A Favorite to Read Again and Again
Revisado: 03-08-20
I absolutely loved this story, it is possibly one of my favorites by this author so far. The narration is wonderful and truly captured the feeling in each character. Without giving to much away I adored the Uncle and the twist at the end! This is definitely a read that is worth your time especially if you are a hopeless romantic like myself! Elaine's goodness that compliments Adam makes them the perfect pair. She is his lady and he a noble knight! You simply must read this one if you love a HEA, whether by audible, ebook, or paperback this is one I will definitely re-read again!

Historia
Pretending to be her sister, Hope Everly finds an adventure, at last. The Caribbean's warm waters and tropical islands fulfill nearly all her dreams. When an excursion to visit another island with a naturalist expedition is interrupted by a storm, Hope is stranded on a desert island where she and her fellow castaways are dependent on a handsome stranger for their survival. Alejandro Córdoba, trapped and alone on the island long enough to give up all dreams of rescue, knows nothing of what has become of his war-torn homeland or his family.

Great Story, just harder one for me to finish
Revisado: 02-26-20
This is another great story from Sally Britton. Sadly, for me I had a harder time finishing this one. It is a very interesting premise with two castaways falling in love, but for me I really can't say exactly why I struggled with this one. Maybe it was Hope and her imitating her twin Grace or maybe it was her inconsistencies around Alejandro. I still think it is a great tale and the narration is fantastic. I would recommend it even, though it was not my favorite. Hope you still try it out and find joy in this love tale from the sea!

An absolute winner and pleasure to my ears
Revisado: 02-16-20
Miss Devon's Choice was a fantastic story. I couldn't help falling in love with Rebecca and Christian. I felt their pain and cheered for their successes. Both have been dictated through life by family who should love and encourage them. This leads Rebecca to long for the love she has missed and makes Christian fearful and guard against the love that destroyed. The narration is fabulous and even when reading I could hear the voices from the narration in my head. They felt so real I am sad to part with Miss Devon and Lord Easton! I highly recommend this book get your copy today!!!!

A Delight for the Ears
Revisado: 01-31-20
This is a charming retelling of the fairytale of Snow White and Rose Red. As a favorite story from my childhood it was fun to see the new life this author brought to this tale. Sally Britton uses such wonderful description you feel that you are transported to the French woods along with Casper and Scarlett. Jessica Elisa Boyd's narration breathes a life into the characters and is a joy to hear. You will not want to miss out on this fun story. I recommend picking up your audiobook today!
