I'm an avid cat lover.. and love humor.. this book has it all.
Will Wheaton delivers wonderfully as the narrator. I listened to this in one sitting... at times, laughing so hard I was crying. (especially Chapter 4 w/ the SIMF vase....)
I hope there are more like this one in our future... it's a definite winner!

I have waited for this book since I finished The Fated Sky back in 2018. The author is the narrator, and she is awesome! She has the ability to make you feel like you are there, living the story, experiencing the same emotions. While listening, I laughed, cried, gasped and had anger toward characters to the point that I felt like I was part of story. I look forward to more of her stories, both her own stories and those that she narrates.

Every Nurse should take a listen!

We nurses have a habit of "eating our young" as we train new nurses in their upcoming careers. As an "old school" nurse, I can attest to this. Time are changing and the experienced nurses are becoming more supportive, but every nurse will gain something from listening to this. For "newbies", there is a lot of sound advice with stories to prepare you in a way nursing school never will. For us old school nurses, it was a fun listen, reminiscent of good times (although probably not thought of as good at the time) and bonding friendships forged in profound ways as we care and empathize side by side with our patients.

I just bought this last night and completed it today. The narration was wonderful, full of emotion, bringing the story to life. Great story, good character development that I can only assume will get even stronger in the next book (which I already purchased before this one even ended!)

Way more sexual content then what summary eluded to. I anticipated more action regarding virus plot then action in bed, which caused me to stop listening all together. Narration sounded forced, not natural. This is the first time I have been dissatisfied with purchase on Audible.
