A really great read!!!!!!!!
Revisado: 02-12-20
I’m always hopeful when I start a new series of books, unfortunately I’m often disappointed!!! Not with this book!!!! It was very entertaining and written in the style I love to read. The characters were very interesting and the story kept my full attention the entire time. Not once did I have to flinch because of profane language!!!! Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!!!!

The characters are very endearing and the twist and turns of the mystery is very well written!!!!! I would have given the book ten stars if I could have!!!!!!! Looking forward to the next book in the series!!!!!!

London, 1853: Young Charles Lenox is called upon by the duke of Dorset, one of England’s most revered noblemen, for help. A painting of the duke’s great-grandfather has been stolen from his private study. But the duke’s concern is not for his ancestor’s portrait; hiding in plain sight nearby is another painting of infinitely greater value, one that holds the key to one of the country’s most famous and best-kept secrets. Dorset believes the thieves took the wrong painting and may return when they realize their error.
