Historia
Popular blogger Cal Newport reveals the new key to achieving success and true meaning in professional life: the ability to master distraction. Many modern knowledge workers now spend most of their brain power battling distraction and interruption, whether because of the incessant pinging of devices, noisy open-plan offices or the difficulty of deciding what deserves their attention the most. When Cal Newport coined the term deep work on his popular blog, Study Hacks, in 2012, he found the concept quickly hit a nerve.

It's one of those life changing books
Revisado: 08-06-18
This book basically teaches you how to be happy.
You can use what you learn from this book in nearly every aspect of your life.
I deliberately waited with the review of this book so I can evaluate how I've changed my way of life since reading the book and I believe I was able to make some positive changes.
I can positively recommend this book to everyone. Especially the people who are just entering adulthood and want to figure out how to adult. This is one great first step (or however many you have taken so far).

A whacky book for USA students
Revisado: 02-20-18
The book is really surface level on how to study in the USA system. I wish I had known it is focused in that system. And many of the things he gives as tips are really basic level.
But the narrating is good. It was easy to listen to and fits the style of the book.

A great follow up
Revisado: 03-13-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend the this due to the fact that this book expands the Alorin universe in way that is perceivable, believable and entertaining. This book is where the characters truly begin to shine whom I started loving in the first book.
What other book might you compare The Dagger of Adendigaeth to and why?
I would compare this book to the Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets, because of the world and character building that is present in the book. The book has a dark vibe, but hope is ever present in the story. So overall I would say this is a more mature reading.
What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A great reading skill and empathy with the lines, where I would be otherwise too excited to read it.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Everyone must walk his own path.

Great perdormace and a good beginning
Revisado: 02-01-17
Since the story runs on multiple lines and the book wants to make clear the bond between the characters it starts a bit slow. But once it starts and plot uncovers it becomes great.
The perdormace is the nest I've heard so far, and there are multiple voice schemes for the main characters if not separate voice actors.

I did not even notice the time flying
Revisado: 01-02-17
The Witcher world is very detailed and the the writer usually gave the right ammount of description just about anything. Not too much, not too little.
The story was interesting, albeit it ended very abruptly.
The voice acting is great and different from character to character.

Historia
The road to the modern age of cultural harmony and acceptance is one of the finest feats of human progress, but having said that, there was once a time when the mere doubt of a religious figure's existence was not only punishable by law, it could very well cost a man his life. This was the crime of heresy.

A brief informative book
Revisado: 12-12-16
If you want a brief introduction to the topic you should start with this book. It's relatively short and provides good information on why did it start at all, how it began, how was it conducted, the interrogation methods, it's more famous enemies, and how it ended (although that section is short).
The narration makes it even more interesting.

A slow starter, but excellent listen
Revisado: 12-08-16
It took some getting used to the narrator's accent play, as I did not hear an aussie accent before. After 1-2 hours I could understand consistently and noticed that it was extremely well narrated as she played with her sound very well: I could distinguish between every character. She used different tones, accents, and styles to achieve this.
The story is a very slow starter and speeds up gradually, and the so many things happen in the last 4 chapters that it's more crowded than the 15 before it.
The beginning was so slow I nearly dropped the book, but the writing style and the natration was so great I couldn't bear to do that so I continued.
The story itself is a very sad tale of unloved people wanting love, and playing detective to uncover things that happened nearly a century ago.
The ending was satisfying and improved the story on a great degree.
