Something wrong with audio
Revisado: 09-30-21
Love Scott Brick, however something was wrong with the sound quality of this audio. It was very noticeable first few hours and then got better but then came and went through the audio. There were times it didn’t sound like the real narrator.
Otherwise I loved this story just as I have enjoyed all the Dune series.

Confusing listen
Revisado: 12-12-20
Author moves between characters and years haphazardly. I found it very difficult to keep up with who was who and the time period taking place. There was not a lot of descriptions or details given either making it harder for me to keep up with the story.
The character names were also kept in the Spanish language so it was difficult for me to remember who was who except for the two main characters.
Overall I felt the story was long with the author not really telling much of a story.

Once Donald Trump’s fiercest surrogate, closest confidant, and staunchest defender, Michael Cohen knows where the skeletons are buried. This is the most devastating business and political horror story of the century. As Trump’s lawyer and “fixer”, Cohen not only witnessed firsthand but was also an active participant in the inner workings of Trump’s business empire, political campaign, and presidential administration.

Very informative and horrifying!
Revisado: 11-24-20
I hate giving 5 stars to this book because this guy is just as heartless as the people he worked for.
He’s only come clean because he got caught, otherwise he’d still be lying, cheating and damaging people lives!
It is a horrifying listen.
The amount of corruption that these people have done and are still doing will make you loose hope in the entire human race.
Frankly I had to backtrack several times because I just could not get it through my head that people could knowingly and willingly participate in this kind of evil.

Historia
Revisiting Dr. Michael Stone's groundbreaking 22-level Gradations of Evil Scale, a hierarchy of evil behavior first introduced in the book The Anatomy of Evil, Stone and Dr. Gary Brucato, a fellow violence and serious psychopathology expert, here provide even more detail, using dozens of cases to exemplify the categories along the continuum. The New Evil also presents compelling evidence that, since a cultural tipping-point in the 1960s, certain types of violent crime have emerged that in earlier decades never or very rarely occurred.

Poor Narrator... Speed Reader
Revisado: 03-29-20
Story’s are interesting and informative.
However the narrator spoke so quickly that it made it hard to listen to. You missed a lot of the facts if you didn’t give complete attention at all time. To me it was like listening to someone read off a shopping list instead of reading an audio book.

In 2016-17, while working for the USA Today Network’s Wisconsin Investigative Team, author John Ferak wrote dozens of articles examining the murder case again Steven Avery, who had already beat one wrongful conviction only to be charged with the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005. In Wrecking Crew, Ferak lays out in exacting detail the post-conviction strategy of Kathleen Zellner, the high-profile, high-octane lawyer, to free Avery.

Sloppy investigation by police
Revisado: 03-24-20
I don’t know if he’s guilty or not but it is apparent that the police did not do there jobs. They never checked Alibis for witnesses that were crucial to the entire investigation.
I believe they wanted Steven to be the killer so badly that they ignored evidence that pointed towards either added accomplices in the crime Or quite possibly the true killer.
My heart goes out to Teresa’s family and Stephen’s parents who have also been terribly hurt by this awful crime.
I hope that a new trial is allowed so that both family’s can see all the evidence this time and know with certainty what happened.

Most of the book is full of very descriptive battles and fights. I constantly had to switch between another audible because I got tired of battle after battle.

Good story-Poor Narrative
Revisado: 10-24-16
Narrator over emphasis words and feelings.
Book is well written but at times I lost interest because scenes seemed to go on and on. I found myself skipping through minutes because of this and I rarely do that with a story. Usually the longer the book the more I love it, not so with this book because the story did not move on.

A little confusing at first
Revisado: 02-29-16
As the first reviewer said it takes awhile to sort out the players and where they belong in the story. You get dropped right in the middle of there world and it is confusing until you catch on to what is what and who is who. Worth working for so keep listening.

too confusing
Revisado: 03-08-13
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I felt like I was dropped into the middle of the story, I had no ideal who was who and which side they were on. I have listened and read very complicated stories but never had such a hard time understanding a book. I was very frustrated and got tired of going back trying to figure out what was going on and gave up on the book.

Ready for Book 2 on Audible!
Revisado: 02-21-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
George Guidall gives a wonderful performance and the story is quick paced and keeps you entertained. Anyone who likes time travel novels will dig this one. It has everything a novel needs to entertain; Politics, war, evil and romance with the right balance. Not heavy on the war details to the point of boredom and not too sappy in the love department. Very well balanced.
What was one of the most memorable moments of 1632?
The year 1632 meeting the year 2001.
What about George Guidall???s performance did you like?
Pefect performance, good match for the story!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! Yes!
Any additional comments?
Bring in the series to audible, soon!
