Historia
A recent poll showed 43 percent of Americans think more socialism would be a good thing. What do these people not know? In The Case Against Socialism, Rand Paul outlines the history of socialism, from Stalin’s gulags to the current famine in Venezuela. He tackles common misconceptions about the “utopia” of socialist Europe. As it turns out, Scandinavian countries love capitalism as much as Americans, and have, for decades, been cutting back on the things Bernie loves the most.

Historia
From the blazing skies of Cyrenaica to the ground war in Abyssinia to the jungles of occupied Malaya, World War II echoes from these eight stories of adventure featuring Tarzan and Korak. Most of the tales in Tarzan and the Lion of Judah revolve around the Second Italo-Abyssinian War of 1935-1936, when Emperor Haile Selassie, the Negus of Ethiopia, impressed the world by standing up with his native army against fascist Prime Minister Benito Mussolini’s mechanized forces.

Variety is interesting.
Revisado: 05-06-23
It was much more engaged with the changing story as it moves through the years. I’d like to know what happens to people in the stories that I read, and to see the characters move through very different situation and difficulties. Each story comes to a temporary resolution, I’m sometimes burned out on situations that become worst and worst, with almost no end to the unlikely complications and endings where everything is resolved in an unlikely way. It makes it far more interesting to see their own development even within the book. The characters were living a string of events that were more like real life. Wherein most solutions are a result of human capacity, courage and refusal to give up.

Combining his trademark comic voice and very real expertise in woodworking - he runs his own woodshop - Paddle Your Own Canoe features tales from Offerman's childhood in small-town Minooka, Illinois, to his theater days in Chicago, beginnings as a carpenter/actor and the hilarious and magnificent seduction of his now-wife Megan Mullally.

humor by prejudicial stereotyping
Revisado: 04-29-23
his performance seems to seek groups of people that are currently approved for humiliation and prejudice. he cuts at those demographic groups who would neither listen to him or feel its necessary to sue him for defamation. when you're realizing this, it stops being funny. he couldn't be a libertarian while scrounging for his thin and narrow narrative, giving shallow logic to promote bullying those who won't or can't fight back. there is very little to redeem this mean spirited bloviation.

All I can really say is if you have read many of the other stories, you will love every moment. If you have not, understanding the subtleties may escape you, but still does anyone not familiar with the characters in this Tarzan universe? So you will still love every minute of it.

Only once in the history of human consciousness, says Osho, has a thing like Zen come into being. In Zen: Its History and Teachings, the noted mystic explains that Zen has no rituals, no chanting, no mantras, no scriptures - only short, evocative parables and teachings that make it ideal for the modern man. Using his characteristic humorous, encouraging style, Osho guides through the origins and development of this seminal spiritual tradition that is neither religion nor dogma nor creed.

After Tarzan departs Southern California following a visit with a dear friend, bandits mysteriously dressed as cowboys straight out of the Old West waylay his train and make off with a precious Native American artifact—taking the daughter of the relic’s owner hostage in the process. Now Tarzan must set off on foot from the wrecked and twisted ruins of the train in pursuit of the criminals, making his way across the American Southwest, a land as different from his jungle homeland as can be imagined. But as Tarzan closes in on his prey, a ruthless killer follows close at his heels.

I really enjoyed the story, the main character of Tarzan was given new situations and remained true to form. Well done.

Historia
The only female student in Cambridge University’s medical program, Jane Porter is far more comfortable in a lab coat dissecting corpses than she is in a corset and gown sipping afternoon tea. A budding paleoanthropologist, Jane dreams of traveling the globe in search of fossils that will prove the evolutionary theories of her scientific hero, Charles Darwin. When dashing American explorer Ral Conrath invites Jane and her father to join an expedition deep into West Africa, she can hardly believe her luck.

I’m not sure what other reviewers heard?
Revisado: 11-17-21
I greatly enjoyed this presentation, it is not a reboot of ERB creation. It’s something different. Something good and worth your time. In many ways it is a more real presentation of the characters. Still fantasy but more believable in many ways. It was a complete story line performed excellently. Yes it is more real to the point of a PG13 rating but only in a few places and for continuity of story and character development.
I feel many of the criticisms read in reviews reflect a less attentive and incomplete hearing of the story. Great job!

Historia
Heralded by the New York Times and Time as the couples therapy with the highest rate of success, Emotionally Focused Therapy works because it views the love relationship as an attachment bond. This idea, once controversial, is now supported by science, and has become widely popular among therapists around the world. In Hold Me Tight, Dr. Sue Johnson presents Emotionally Focused Therapy to the general public for the first time. Johnson teaches that the way to save and enrich a relationship is to reestablish safe emotional connection and preserve the attachment bond.

Honest is rare
Revisado: 02-08-15
I'm one of those people that can see how the movie or book will end in the first 15 minutes. I'm not a person who watches moves or reads books constantly, not obsessed with authors or script writers. It's just I recognize patterns when a contrived storyline has a limited number of minutes to find resolution which marks the story as artificial in nature. Life can not be contrived, and follows patterns that are only fractal and natural in origin and ending. What I like about this character that Johnson has created is that the word he lives in is more defined but also more closely follows the real. In the opportunity then becomes this, how will a normal character with above average skill and perception, handle both the extraordinary and mundane in a crisis.
Loved the story, thanks Craig.
