Historia
Trained as an evangelical Bible scholar, Peter Enns loved the Scriptures and shared his devotion by teaching at Westminster Theological Seminary. But the further he studied the Bible, the more he found himself confronted by questions that could neither be answered within the rigid framework of his religious instruction nor be accepted among the conservative evangelical community.

Historia
"True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are." Social scientist Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW, has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame, and empathy. In Braving the Wilderness, Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarization.

What made the experience of listening to Braving the Wilderness the most enjoyable?
I enjoyed hearing the book and I enjoy more books that the author reads than someone else because you can hear the subtly from them that you don't seem to get from other readers. THis book has helped me with my work and my personal life.

Historia
When Pastor Steve Austin left home that Sunday night, he knew his wife and little boy would never see him alive again. Steve had survived childhood sexual abuse as a preschooler, but the effects rippled through his life for the next 25 years. After nearly 10 years as a youth pastor and worship leader, Steve was convinced that his only choice was suicide. But childhood sexual abuse, addiction, and a suicide attempt were only the beginning of Steve Austin's story. This book is for anyone who has hit rock bottom and is left wondering what to do next.
