When DI Barton is asked to investigate a seemingly innocuous fire that kills, he believes it's either children fooling around or a worrying racially motivated crime. As he delves deeper into the case, he soon realises that there is a history of similar blazes spread out over many years, all within a close area. An idea suggested by pathologist Mortis makes Barton suspect he has the arsonist’s motives wrong.

Explicit Thriller?
Revisado: 09-01-22
Overall the storyline is quiet good and the suspense holds up. I had my suspicions and did guess the ending but still enjoyed it. However, the constant description of the sex scenes throughout gets very tiring after a while and I wish Coleen Hoover didn’t constantly rely on the boring titillation. It really lets the book down. The voices sounded a bit robotic which I think could have been done better.

When Margaret Hale's father leaves the Church in a crisis of conscience she is forced to leave her comfortable home in the tranquil countryside of Hampshire....
