But the main character turned into a ass. I’m right, your wrong, imma beat you until you see it my way or kill you and everybody will be awed by me. A lil disappointed.

Historia
Lucy Parsons wants absolutely nothing to do with the Westmoore family or the maple syrup they produce. When Sierra Westmoore blows back into town after her father's death and tries to rent a room at Lucy's family's bed-and-breakfast, The Maple Inn, Lucy kicks her out on the spot. It doesn't matter that Sierra hasn't set foot in Maple Run in fifteen years—the Westmoores are not allowed. But small towns don't leave a lot of room to hide, and Sierra and her brother, Drake, have set their sights on improving the town's opinion of them now that their father is gone.

If y’all want a example of someone always being in the wrong….
Revisado: 05-10-23
Boy this is for you, bad “best friend” who the character can’t say f-off too or argue with, who’s always in the right. Bad communication with significant other, and always fking groveling, jeez enough with the “oh your right I’m wrong how can I make it right” stuff…. Zero fking pride, lol made me annoyed. Kinda alright premise, just needed the chick to have a bit of backbone and stick to her damn guns, especially if she has a point, even if it isn’t morally white, people are shades of grey, lol this book bugged the heck outta me.

Unsatisfying, tbh. Good, but just too easy.
Revisado: 05-14-22
Was an interesting premise, but ya, "friends" were always right, never really got pushback from the main characters... feelings of the people involved didn't really get hashed out. And no yelling.... this one needed at least one yelling scene but nah, everyone handled things like adults... and ya, idk, being reasonable in the situation shown in the book made sense.. just wanted someone to yell. made it a tad borring and too easy. Haha but a alright book, made a drive less borring.

Two minutes and one spilled cup of coffee later, she's sure she's not ready for Addison Fairchild.

Historia
Everyone loves Mathias. Naturally, when he discovers it’s his destiny to save the world, he dives in headfirst, pulling his best friend, Aaslo, along for the ride. However, saving the world isn’t as easy, or exciting, as it sounds in the stories. The going gets rough, and folks start to believe their best chance for survival is to surrender to the forces of evil, which isn’t how the prophecy goes. At all. As the list of allies grows thin and the friends find themselves staring death in the face, they must decide how to become the heroes they were destined to be.

Entertaining... a bit. But so unbelievable.
Revisado: 11-16-19
Completely bullshit. Like it could be good if they're responses to problems weren't so dumb. Hey, the hero got a monster arm and he turns and says thanks to a mad selfish girl, completely against the customs of the people. Ha. So bloody unbelievable. Couldn't relate at all. And ya, like to relate to stories.

Whimpy submissive heroes make pathetic heroes. Kept on bugging me how he took everything without complaining, as in I don't know expected him to be a little bit more than his past circumstances made him. But the book did make me get a bit invested in it so much so that it made me a little mad... so it was a alright book.

So as a dude this book had a part of the battle of Culloden.. so I thought it might be pretty interesting. Girls like this stuff? A complete asshole and a douch... Using people and complete dick moves and people just forget and forgive? If this is how girls dream then goddamn I'm glad I'm a man... Holy hell I just cant.

Revisado: 01-06-19
Spoiler alert, walk in on your girlfriend making out on a chair with hardly any clothes with another dude, with all your "friends" just standing around awkwardly, you think shes cheating on you, nobody stopped her or explained fast, just told him it's not what you think... so why didn't they stop it! He gets mad and storms out. Haha and later you find out she was mind messed up and didn't know what was going on so the dude feels bad for what he honestly thought she was cheating on him, and everyone blames him? Bit much, but other than that awkward romance that lasted way to long the book was fun. It just seemed so cliche and dumb, why blame the poor kid for what he honestly thought his girl was cheating? Dumb. Kinda ruined it.

Confusing as hell.
Revisado: 09-26-18
The writing style is fun, good to listen to, but I was so confused as to why, who, what for, reasons, so if that was what the book was going for then I'm doing it a injustice, but I could not follow what was going on most of the time, and the main character was something else. Usually the main character is somebody you root for, but his actions, hes supposed to be a young teenager in a grown man's body, but it should be a 5 year old in a mans body. He's a bully all the time, not some confused teenager. Was hoping he would get his ass kicked just so he'd stop being such a dick, but I guess that's the story. Couldn't get behind it, couldn't understand what the author was going for.
